Re: Seeing how truly miserable I am

Everyday my fears, which in reality aren't that big of a deal, seem like they are going to destroy me somehow, and this isn't anything new, they're just magnified now..... I don't know if I'm going crazy or if I'm healing myself, I'm pretty confused, but it SEEMS like what I'm doing is the right th...

Re: Finding a place to stand

I've been interested in meditation for some time and have found the increase in self awareness invaluable, it made me tougher and more able to withstand life's events. However for many months now my awareness has contracted to the size of a pea. I've got very little self awareness or insight. I wou...

Re: Burn the History Books - Burn em all!

They still make nice fire starters, and they are only a buck twenty five at the Goodwill. I checked out Mooji - cool guy... Lots of Youtube vids to watch. From the River of Love video: This life is a dream. It will be over in a blink of an eye. Remember who you are. Remember what you are. Whose voic...

Re: A tiny bit of clarity

Better late than never: Here is the full Adyashanti link from Onceler's post on page 1 of the thread. http://www.thesunmagazine.org/issues/384/who_hears_this_sound I never "got" adyashanti, until I read that article. It was very good. His form of meditation, "True Meditation" which allows the mind t...

What Is Your New Years "E"volution?

Note the emphasis on Evolving and and not Resoluting. How will you evolve this year? :P ++++++++++++++ In Ken Wilber's Integral Life Practice (ILP), I picked up on the power of gratefulness and it's tremendous and immediate effect on feeling joy. Re: Dr. Thomas Campbell's stunning lecture

He was talking about a clam and it has a very small space - he called it a decision space - and that is the clams free will. This is an essential teaching of the Jewish Concentration Camp survivor and Psychologist Dr. Viktor Frankl, found in his book, Man's Search for Meaning. “We who lived in conc...

Re: Discussion: The Johnny Tolleseed Project

Some library systems are making audio books available on-line for downloads. Why not suggest this and skip the cd step? That’s a good thought Onceler. And that idea can certainly be highlighted to Forum Members. However, only 51% of US families have a computer, and 41.5% have Internet Access at hom...

Re: Is imagination egoic?

If the One Conciousness itself is a mature ego, then imagine the implications of that?

I imagine the Imagination is the unmanifested becoming manifest in a thought form. It is the cutting edge of conciousness. One of the rawest forms of unmanifested transformation into the manifested.

Re: Discussion: The Johnny Tolleseed Project

First and foremostly - the name of the project ought to be gender neutral: "Johnny + Jane Tolleseed Project" sounds a little better. However "Tolleseed" is simpler. Thanks to all those who replied. Sorry but I have to upstage Hand with my $0.04. We are the Teachers! Where are you appearing today? :w...

Discussion: The Johnny Tolleseed Project

Hello Fellow Fragments Innoculated with Ego, of the One Conciousness: This is just a very preliminary probe for responses regarding a project I would like to see undertaken. Your responses and insights are much appreciated. The gist of the project is this: Get Eckhart Tolle materials stocked in ever...

Re: How Was Work Today?

I guess the problem is that an evironment steeped in "a bunch of false selfs" running around... some of which control your financial situation, is that it can easily be poisonous to the enlightenment process. Especially when you have dual agendas: Pleasing egos out of control, and staying in the int...
