Re: Are competitive sports unenlightened?
You could also watch "Peaceful Warrior". This movie is about sports and spirituality. Most of the gymnasts in the movie only compete because they want recognition from others - their motives are clearly egoic. But it's possible to compete without ego, which one of the gymnasts learn. The movie is re...

Re: Are competitive sports unenlightened?
This is from Tao Te Ching :) The best athlete wants his opponent at his best. The best general enters the mind of his enemy. The best businessman serves the communal good. The best leader follows the will of the people. All of the embody the virtue of non-competition. Not that they don't love to com...

Re: Why does life work against me?
It's the most difficult part to transform deep unconsciousness into consciousness. The painbody can be very strong. Just remember its funtion is to take you out of the problemmaking mind. Let go of your beliefs and go into stillness. This painbody is a blessing for you. Read this Rumi poem, my friend...

Re: Does Eckhart constantly feels his inner body?
I don't believe he practices all day long and thinks about the inner body, but I believe he feels it all day long. According to Eckhart feeling the inner body is always a part of being present. When you sense oneness with the external world it's also through the inner body and not through the mind. ...

Watch this shortfilm
This movie is great! You could say it's about the LOA, but I think it contains many other things as well. It's a spiritual movie, but it doesn't speak about spirituality directly.

Great talk by Adyashanti
I love this talk by Adyashanti, which adresses different levels of awakening. You can always go deeper, don't believe the job is done :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PeSezeHLvY4 I have a sense that these different levels of awakening is related to the degree of awareness of the inner body. But lis...

Re: Awake
Not some mysterious transformation that one out of a million experience ... and that by "the grace of God." Maybe this is just a story, an obstacle put there by your mind, so you believe that awakening is impossible. This thought creates pain and doubt. Just believe you are already awakened and fre...

You are awake when you enjoy being
And when you do not need thoughts to make you happy.

Re: Awake
Does the question even make sense? We need to define "awake" first.
