'Then Death took the hand of that earthly slave, removed his reality, and gave to the angels the heavy task of correction.' Kahil G. maybe it means that the person died and lost the ego and the angels then had to ....ugh.........lost me a little there.....maybe they had to help the person understand...

To die first

Its been a while since I have posted or even visited this site. Just had a thought that I was wondering if anyone else agrees with...? One thing that helps me see beyond my ego is to imagine that I am dead but still here, and now nothing really matters that is trivial like whether or not I made it t...

I understand how it is hard to believe something that you cant see and trust. I think that everyone goes through these questions. Ive been up and down on what I believe and dont throughout the years. One concept that really makes me wonder is if people have "faith" out of fear of going to hell. Mayb...

As a worry wart, I know that when theres nothing left to fear, I will find something to worry about to not focus on reality. Maybe because I then ask, "what is reality"? When I ask myself the big questions, then a great overwhelming fear comes over me sometimes. In avoidance I would rather fear the ...

Ok Claudia, Ill join in if you dont mind. Ive wondered about this subject. There are many reasons why a person would not have sex with every one he/she wants to. There are times when living in the Now involves using things you have learned. Learning involves morals, spirituality, not wanting disease...

Hey Golfer,

Welcome! I work at an Irish Pub, but its in the US. We have something called a Dublin Pot Pie. Great food where you live: soda bread, beef and guinness stew, fish and chips....YUM!
Is blood pudding really made with blood? I heard they are. We dont have those where I work.

Fear Nothing

I just learned something wonderful through a site on here that someone put up from a while back: http://www.gangaji.org/satsang/library/listening.asp Gangaji, who I never knew of before tonight, is very easy to relate to. I believe it was the listening part on pondering (?) or how and why (?) that j...

I watched The Passion of the Christ the other day and it got me thinking about the part where Jesus takes the bread and wine and tells them to drink and eat of this which is my body. I never really thought deep into that but now it could mean something different. Maybe Jesus is saying something like...

With me, nature is just getting away from man's creations, and going directly to God's. Its to get an uninterupted glimpse of His creations. Sometimes I get tired of staring at ugly brown buildings and old gray streets. But Summer you are so right....a blind person is always in that state with no ch...

Clare, You are moving to France huh? How lucky :o and not fair. I guess anywhere sounds good to me though, because Im not exactly bored of the (southeast) US but sometimes it would be nice to see more of the world. I always wanted to see London too. My two favorite movies are Amelie and Under the Tu...

Nature is like that. It's a church to a spiritual person, an aesthetic experience to an artist, a playground to a sportsman, a bed to lovers, a workplace to a farmer, a magic land for kids, and blanket of comfort to the elderly. And it can deliver any combination of the above and so much more with e...

When we close our eyes We all see the same thing An endless darkness We can fill it with anything This space That never ends Open your eyes An ever-changing space surrounds you We are all connected By this constant inside us Blind men are not blind The body contains this spirit But it is one with th...
