Re: Have you changed your diet ?

Onceler, that's really great. Do you mind if I ask if your diet consists of legumes, wholegrains, nuts seeds etc? I'm just curious how peoples diets have worked for them. I have such severe problems with food and I struggle to find a suitable diet. Yes, whole grains, nuts and seeds, lots of vegetab...

Re: Have you changed your diet ?

I eat a whole foods plant based diet, extremely limited in animal products. It’s what my intuition seemed to guide me toward over the years and it cured my food addiction to sugary and fatty foods. I love it and feel good.

Re: Tolle Criticism

You’re dangerously close to thinking for yourself, MiddlMan, it’s shaky ground. I'm not sure I understand. Specifically what are you referring to ? When someone points out a "thought storm", my question is - where did your labeling of my "thought storm" originate from ? Thought, am I right ? So it ...

Re: Anyone recovered from Severe Anxiety?

Yes, I’ve recovered from severe anxiety......24/7 with intermittent panic attacks. I used John Sherman’s looking method (long term) and diet exercise and the Wim Hof Method (short term). The breathing in particular puts you into a deep meditative state and the breathing with the cold exposure greatl...

Re: Marijuana and Presence

Michael Pollan’s, How to Change Your Mind, is a good overview of the psychedelic experience.

Re: Why are we doing this?

Great questions. I had the same questions and gave it up, stopped the search. Threw the books away. Quit the forums and the videos. I’ve been much happier since. Maybe there’s nothing to change but the search? I found that when I stopped stalking the answers they started to come around like inquisit...

Re: Done going around in circles

Things started happening for me when I was in your shoes and quit the spiritual game for about a year. That was six years ago and I’ve never been happier.....or less “spiritual”.

Re: Is presence basically the opposite of anxiety?

I like where you’re headed with this. I prefer simple, everyday language as well. Relaxation works for me. I see fear as a pervasive sub-context to everything, perhaps love too. I think it’s possible to be stressed or anxious without fear....these states are very brief and responsive to external sti...
