Re: If PoN is making you miserable - Read this.

This realization that there is only one moment was key for me too. It was like an initial step that instantly took me into the "vertical" dimension. Funny how it was initialized through the mind, by understanding/realization. It's interesting that for some people reading PON has a rather, at least p...

Science and Enlightenment

I'm currently looking at a perspective from science on enlightenment. I read "The science of Enlightenment" but I did not find very useful insights from my point of view. I noticed the "Stroke of insight" by Jill Bolte Taylor following by an Awakening experience, by shutting down the left hemisphere...

Re: Spirituality and Drive

aceking, regarding your goal to write a novel. I experienced that the thing that is most important to me, is the thing that I am in danger of laying off constantely. I feel that because it means so much to me, because I love to see it manifested, I somehow put it off for the following reasons: 1. fe...

Re: Spirituality and Drive

Yes Andy. Basically what I am saying is, spirituality and drive are on two different levels and going higher into one, doesn't mean going lower (or higher) on the other one. It can have influence on each other, in terms of the roots of motivation or the view of reality, but there is no hard link. Yo...

Re: Spirituality and Drive

As I come back to the thread I noticed something for me today, especially as I watched this video again: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdgO4UDrwm8 Eckharts says at around 6:00 you are already complete, but on the world of form you can dance. Nothing new but a stimulus to me. Regarding the topic it ...

Re: Discussing spirituality with "non-spiritual" people

Just a quick note: Mainly I am not teaching, I am dialoging and discussing. And the other person as well as me likes it. I am surprised to say that I have very open and willingly people around me, I don't think that this is a coincidence here. Some people are not interested, then I don't talk about ...

Bringing the seemingly conflict between Mind and Now down

I'm still pondering about the balance between everyday mind and the Being in the Now. I want to share a distinction where in my opinion it is brought to the light fully: The motivation, the extra drive comes for many poeple by the anticipation of the future, of what they want to achieve, to create. ...

Discussing spirituality with "non-spiritual" people

I recently discussed Tolle and spirituality in general with a lot of people. There are some interesting discussions coming up when we see a lot of different perspectives, sometimes also frustrating ones, when it comes to describing experiences or discussing about importance of spirituality. Also I n...

Re: Your mind is the culprit

The first sentance points out the entire issue is the identification with thoughts (great!). Then, unfortunetly, the second sentance suggests that the thoughts should be controlled - if no identification is occuring why change them? Struggling against thoughts, in my experience, is one of the great...

Idea of a Book-Club

I really love to read, especially about spirituality and personal development. Recently I had the idea to discuss the books I'm reading with others interested in them, so the idea of a Book-Club was born. Now I integrated the idea into my blog-site with a suitable plugin called Now Reading, you can ...
