In-depth, exhaustive Tolle interview

Dear all,

This is just about the most complete interview I've heard with Eckhart Tolle, and guess what, he gets time to answer his questions!

Truly worth a listen.

Re: Your mind is the culprit

Having made my comments about Evolve Your Brain, I've now finished it and in a way it seems a bit weird. Because right at the end he starts talking about what you can do about all of this stuff, but only in a most tangential manner. It almost reads like an undergraduate essay where the student has f...

Re: Your mind is the culprit

I've been reading 'Evolve Your Brain' and for what it's worth it's great. My first reaction (and I'm still reading it) is why on earth is this not taught in schools? It made me think that the stuff I was taught at school was a really irrelevant to what goes on. I mean, who needs to know about proton...

Re: Law of Attraction

Well indeed this is a most eloquent piece. I have to admit that my first instinct upon seeing 'astrology' was quickly to balk and say, 'next, please' but I took the time to read it and it's very nice.

Re: What are you all seeking here?

I haven't read all of the posts, so this is in response to the first. You raise an interesting point, jsd80, as this brings up the notion of the 'seeker', and the seeker always searches for something that is not here. Again, I would recommend the practice of triangles from http://www.zen-eye.org so ...

The Unfolding Now

Yet another contribution to the 'Now' series (let's just do it, eh?), this book by Almaas is still worth a read. You'll probably sit back and yawn at the first four chapters if you've read the Power of Now, but then it starts getting juicy. If you've a spare moment then why not give it a try - I did...

Re: Non-Duality

Well after the initial shift (which is the first stage) there are 4 more degrees of enlightenment. They are called Tozan's Five Ranks. For an explanation, I recommend 'The Path of the Human Being' by Genpo Roshi.

Re: Acceptance

I think your problem goes much deeper than 'acceptance'; sounds to me like you need bio-energetics work, rebirthing, and massage. I recommend you visit www.diamondbreath.de and look for some courses in your area. Robert Augustus Masters is also good if you're in the US. I would recommend you get in ...

Re: I just realized that we don't have questions

You're absolutely right; a very quick (and profound) realization of this comes (and I make no apologies for banging on about it, so revolutionary it is) if you practise the Big Mind process e.g. at www.zen-eye.org and click on 'Free Samples' and then 'You - the Immediate Buddha'. Make sure it fully ...

zen-eye.org

Dear all, I really must recommend the seminar Intro to Zen - Practice Continues on the website www.zen-eye.org. In my view, one should not go through life without seeing it. Even if you just subscribe for a month (7 pounds) the money is well worth it and if you subscribe for a year or two even this ...
