Re: Marriage Counseling - painbody advice?

The relationship has not changed because of the teachings of Eckhart. If anything, the teachings have brought me so much peace and kept me from just taking off and leaving the relationship and then repeating the same patterns somewhere else. If the marriage ends, I want it to be a conscious and peac...

Marriage Counseling - painbody advice?

Hey guys, I'm about to go to a marriage counselor with my husband tomorrow because we haven't been talking or relating much and we're both unhappy and sad about the marriage we have. I've been practicing being more present in the relationship for a few years now and I believe that I would be ok walk...

This is interesting because since I have been practising presence, I have stopped going to gym. I think my workouts had become compulsive and fear based (I'm getting fat!) so I haven't been in a while. I feel an urge to walk alot but I can't due to a bad neighborhood. But this is ok for some reason....

Sorry about your friend. I totally understand that you'd like to find that conversation. I think you can contact a software/computer specialist to retrieve information from your computer. I think that even if you deleted it, it's still there somewhere. best of luck.

JJ, Jetlag, et al, This is a fascinating subject! I, too, feel swamped by the mind and the ego first thing in the morning until I "remember" to wake up and be present. I assume this is part of the awakening process and the mind seems to run wild in my dreams as well. I feel like it was able to play ...

Great post Joel. I saved that one.

This is not to applaud your ego, but merely to say that I felt you tapped into the truth and related it well to us. :)

cheers and thanks,
Louise

Great point Wave Woman. I had a dream the other night in which I was talking to my sister (with whom I've always had "issues") and I found myself saying..."Forgiveness is everything. Forgiveness is everything.." over and over. Forgiveness is compassion in action so since then I've been trying to rem...

Fascinating article! Of course I don't know what to think of it in light of the Tolle teachings but it's certainly worth following that story to see where Persinger's research leads. I found the last paragraph of the story particularly interesting...to paraphrase...that maybe all of our searching ca...

Thanks Din. Good advice as well. I cut and pasted Kiki's last post into a word file so I can revisit it.

Kiki,

I can't thank you enough. I totally get what you're saying now. Even more so since I got up this morning. It's really great.

cheers and thanks to you both,

Louise

Thanks for the recommendation. I just ordered one of his cds. I'm looking forward to it. The website seems to reiterate what Tolle says but in a slightly different way. He seems to focus more on the practicality maybe?

cheers,

"What is more important is what you want. If you really want the truth, then it will manifest." Thanks for your response Din. I believe that too. I try to feel the inner body as many times as I can remember to during the day and it's a very relaxing feeling. It's as if I am constantly uptight until ...

It's definitely still slower than it used to be and I have cable modem. Last week I thought your server was down for a couple of days. It wouldn't load in at all so I couldn't even alert you guys about it. Thanks for getting it back up and going again.

cheers,

Louise
