Juno wrote:ET's book says awakening to your life's purpose. In this mind projected world there's purpose. Isness no purpose.
How else does ET sell books and make money then?

Echart Tolle
The New Earth
"Awaken to the realization that you have no purpose other than to exist"

Thats not gonna sell well.

Re: I am THAT

When in the present moment you will find your real being which is I Am nothing else. It is not your body nor your mind it is the real you. That is all you stay present with I am that I am. So "I am", is the feeling of existence? Its a kind of stillness isn't it? Sometimes energy in the body? Does t...

Re: Dalai Lama/Spritual Teachers money/possessions

Forget these teachers. I don't think it matters what these teachers do, they could all be frauds for all I care! But the real question you should be asking is, what do I do? what is my truth? Its your responsibility to find out. Like the buddhist saying: If you see the buddha, kill him. Which means,...

I am THAT

Has anyone read this great spiritual book by Nisargadatta Maharaj? (If you haven't please do, it is very close to Eckhart Tolle's and Adyashantis philosophy) I have a question; When Maharaj writes: "Just stay put firmly and establish yourself in the "I am".." Does he mean the feeling of energy in th...

Re: Experiences

I can only speak of my own experience and I believe it is experienced differently for everyone. In my experience I found if I immediately noticed that the "flash of inner body awareness" was over I felt an inner struggle. I believe I became disappointed and then would 'try harder' to make it last. ...

Re: Hello from London

More and more people are joining, who are actually younger than me. I'm getting old :(
I don't think an enlighted person would say this!! Remember, you were never born, and you will never die. You are the eternal space that is now!

Thanks for the hospitable welcome.

Experiences

1. Whenever I pay attention to my breath for a significant period of time, whilst closing my eyes, I sometimes get a nanosecond flash of inner body awareness. Its as if every cell of my body is alive! But it lasts only for a nanosecond (maybe shorter) and I go back to my breath. Does this innerbody ...
