Re: How long can you stay present?
...........sounds like the God is subject to science? .............how can that be? who created the scientists? Namaste Dunno and don't bother. The point is that there is no point. Who knows if there is such a thing as god or consciousness? Nobody should have authority to speak about abstrac...

Re: How long can you stay present?
Well I have come to certain conclusions. You see we are just like everything else in the universe. We live and then we die. But it is/was/has been bugging the humans(well I don't want to create duality by saying human mind). So they go on inventing things such as god, enlightenment, ghosts, souls, r...

Re: Approval seeking
@RL Well, use common sense. Life is too long to not make mistakes. And if you don't make mistakes then you wouldn't know whether you did right thing. And you could still get wrong results even after doing right thing. My personal favourite is 'who cares'. If common sense says that something is right...

Re: How long can you stay present?
Hey everyone, thanks for replies. This question is now irrelevant to me. There is no way for me to know if consciousness, enlightenment, god, sixth sense, innerbody etc exist or they are inventions of imagination. I am not even standing by my own experiences. My life at the moment is like reading a ...

Re: Creative Visualization question
@Nutrition While I have not read your post in detail, you seem to be interested in visualization. Here is a techniques I liked the most. It's an old post from Steve Pavlina's wife Erin. Now I don't continue doing that, but I had once recovered from viral fever, without taking any medicine with help ...

Well, he certainly looks like one. roflol. I was just amused that somebody thought the same. No logic involved. Maybe I am a crackpot too.

Re: How long can you stay present?
Self-realization is not the question. You don't have to push it down my throat. Nature has already done so. My problem right now is that I can not continuously be in that state of presence. Even it is not a problem. It just is. And practically it is same to most of the people. If you are someone who...

Re: How long can you stay present?
Well, most of this topic is getting lost in what and what not. I expect that if people are more present/awake I would get more personal, intimate and direct answers.

Re: Silver lining?
There are certain things that throw you in the now or present moment almost forcefully. And I would say physical pain comes first. When you have acute physical pain, you would not be thinking about past or future. I guess that's why death is painful in most of the cases. You are given one more chanc...
