Re: how to enjoy what you dont enjoy doing?

Thanks for the imput so far. I empoy all the techniques that have been metioned, I connect with my inner body, and work on the primary purpose of interacting with the customer and not the secondary of selling (and yes my sales are surprising good) I am proactive and do my best. However I wake every...

Re: Sense of love and completion

Hi quinn :), Yeah that's right :) Yes I suppose I'm talking about both. And the okay-ness about death must be part of it. It's also the feeling of such completeness that I don't have to even be in this physical form. The sense of nowhere to go and nowhere to be but with added of I've been here all b...

Sense of love and completion

I wanted to share this, and also if anybody ever have any similar. (i'm happy not depressed lol :)) I'm pretty young under 20. And well.... There's been many times in my life where I've been contemplating, viewing beautiful photographs or just after a day is over. That I have this feeling of overwhe...

Re: Decision to make over job and location.

mmm maybe, it's a pretty important commitment what I need to fulfill for the next month or so. But the job won't be held for me for a month, it's a start work. Practically I have to, ideally I won't it my way. Whether the practical aversion is irrational. :)

Re: 2012 - End of psychological time?

My point of view is yes, it was been happening. I mean the new heaven is within, and once enough people reach that stage of love, then a new earth will be the "outward symptom". But you see the resources have been burnt almost, man has built much ugliness. :( For even nature to corrode it all natura...

Decision to make over job and location.

hi all, I've recently found a job, lucky as it is the field of charity organisation. But It was based in London. And I have a strong aversion towards the city for a long time(more based on the peoples/activity etc, the buildings can be beautiful, but lack of nature!) I just don't enjoy visiting ther...

Conspiracy theories, paranoia.

There seems to be a lot of attention around 2012. And one seems to do with a secret society, Illuminati. Which actually has it's Latin meanings of enlightened ones. Apparently the enlightened ones are pulling the strings to control, and get a New world order. A new world order would be good if we we...

Re: Can I get recommendations on books?

I don't know what your looking for exactly. A survey?. Belief systems? ;)

Try Alan watts he was great at bring eastern teachings, Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism etc to the west, pretty much similar to eckhart but with more humph and more intriguing I would say haha

Re: I can't win

As alan watts says. "However, this attempt is so habitual that it can hardly be stopped, so that whenever anyone tries to accept the moment just as it is he becomes aware only of the frustration of himself trying to do so. This seems to present an unbreakable vicious circle-unless he realizes that t...

Re: Certain urges, impulses, feelings.

Well I think it's like soul purpose, it's not wants and little desires, but your deepest intuition, that's how I would interpret it. Like eckhart becoming a spirtual teacher and says in new earth some may do similar or be "frequency holders"

Re: Certain urges, impulses, feelings.

Yes I've been to America twice as a child and on a skiing holiday. And I loved it both times. Just the visas and stuff require jobs, I don't have any degrees and don't really plan on getting one as that is not my inclination.....

Re: Certain urges, impulses, feelings.

Yes, I am aware of it, I'm not totally absorbed by it, as i can feel space around it. The question is that I can't take action, as I have no plans, am young, not even money, no job, the practical steps seem many. But it's always going to be there.... I get to the question "what if I had this where I...

Certain urges, impulses, feelings.

I've always had this urge of being in America, and this feeling of a "dead end" or "no wanting to be in this country"(England), it's odd, and it's not emotion, though emotion can come in of a bit of unhappiness. It's the one of the oddest feelings I have, and sometimes it's there, sometimes it's not...

Re: Opposite sex, relationships.

You don't need advice. It sounds like you've got a good handle on it. Sex is a natural part of connecting with someone. There is also nothing wrong with wanting sex for the experience of sex. Sex is a great meditation. Treat people with love and respect and honesty. But isn't that wanting sex as an...

Re: part animal.

Yeah I see where your getting at. To be honest people like eckhart would probably survive, I mean you experience the lessening of ego and violence in the energy field of presence. But considering a war, I would probably eat, then it devolve and would find meaning in getting food, but ALSO if it was ...
