Re: feeling small and insignificant

Hi all, I do not know how to stop feeling a fool and acting like a fool. This is the image i have from myself. People treat me like a fool also. But I know this is my fault. I think most of the problems happens due to my behavior when I want something, victimizing myself. I cannot stop with this be...

Re: Never try to do 'good' if you believe in LOA

Interesting take. But isn't this what you are doing in this post? Concerning yourself with what others do? Quite the paradox, wouldn't you say? WW Actually my post here reinforces the point more than it contradicts it. In my rational mind I know that I should mind my own business and let the rest o...

Re: What was your first post on these forums?

I was often worried about the future, what will happen, how should I fix this and that. I was also angry at myself how I had lived my life. Wrong education, bad decisions and so on. There is still some of it left but already after a few days of reading I felt better. I'm very far from enlightened b...

Re: Crossroad Philosophy

Thank you. It seems like this questioning/reasoning opened up a third road, to hell. :(

Crossroad Philosophy

First, Little Me is assuming there is a free will in this philosophy. The philosophy (today...)...is... there are now two ways to go for me. Road 1. Seeking, practice, spiritual understanding and knowledge. Which is some kind of personal development of Little me and individual consciousness/awarenes...

Re: Presence

I would say absence of mind is the absence of thoughts. Oh I disagree! I could stop my thoughts any minute, I could just be there looking at things, experiencing hot, cold, whatever, and my mind would still be there, noticing. Absence of mind is total oblivion, total blackout, death. Correct, it is...

So... why not ask these kind of questions? Perhaps there are no answers but "dangerous" questions need to be asked? Else we will just follow what some guru says about should or shouldn't or hide behind our spiritual beliefs.

Re: Veganism!

I need some justification for standard diet! Now you got it  Serious, who do you need justification from? Personally I don't believe what the Bible says but if I am going to stop eat hamburgers there has to be a willingness or some guidance from The Source. Not just Little Me who wants to bec...

Re: Tell us about your meditation technique/experience

During daily life - just being here, living in the now and being the mystery. :) Is anything more needed than these words, really? Do we need anymore knowledge, wisdom, practice or guidance than this? Maybe anything more than these words just take us away, leads us astray? Why not stop here? Do the...

Re: Why should we become enlightened?

I have similar thoughts from time to time. We are a part of a game and instead of participating in it, we do everything we can to get out of it and escape. With little success it seams. How many on this "spiritual path" are actually peaceful, happy and in the flow of life? I know it is impossible bu...

Re: Eckhart on the Law of Attraction

Buddha was pretty clear on the need to end the cycle of birth and death (samsara.) And yet the Tibetan Rinpoches keep re-incarnating to the delight of the monks... In a recent Satsang Mooji refers to Papaji who had said "this may be your only chance to wake up in a million years". Any more knowledg...

Re: Eckhart on the Law of Attraction

... I agree with every word. But there is also a possibility to stay neutral and not judge or focus like that at all... to focus on the experience and awareness itself... where can that lead us I wonder :) It is not all clear and verified 100% but my experience is that focus on the positive might n...

Re: Tell us about your meditation technique/experience

I am not the right person to answer this because I mix so much. I have one steady regular practice and that is Qigong every morning. Later in the day I can listen to a sound in my head, watch snowflakes falling or watch Little Me, whatever. It varies. In general I focus and put attention on somethin...
