Re: Tolle on death and what happens

Well its been a month and I've done a little reading and have reflected on this. As of right now I neither accept or reject reincarnation but, the whole concept seems to have changed my perspective. I've considered what I know about different religions and compared everything I've learned after read...

Re: Tolle on death and what happens

I encourage anyone with a few dollars to sign up for and take a "Life Between Lives" past-life regresssion hypnotherapy session - from the teachings of Michael Newton -- here: http://www.spiritualregression.org/search.php I did one with Joelle McGonagle in the State of Washington, about five years ...

Re: Tolle on death and what happens

Speaking of presuming to know something... I know weird stuff happens after the brain dies or begins to die or comes back to life. How is it you know this? Google it lol. I liked this article. http://science.howstuffworks.com/science-vs-myth/extrasensory-perceptions/near-death-experience4.htm. this...

Re: Tolle on death and what happens

of course everyone has an idea but who really knows. Maybe those many thousands that remember being there. And "there" is a reference to a state of consciousness beyond that experienced in form. OBE's, NDE's and in some cases, even lucid dreamers. There are other possibilities as well - those who d...

Re: Where do my thoughts come from?

This question is rhetorical in nature, but is intended to open discussion. I realized recently (many times) that I have no clue where most if not all of my thoughts come from, I know the form they come in because I experience them, but I never see a thought coming before it makes an impression on m...

Re: Tolle on death and what happens

One form into another form... reincarnation. One form into formless... it shuts our minds up. Both sound like ideas to me. Like religion, heaven/hell, just thought up and accepted. Of course thats my perspective, no more than another mental position. "nothing real can be threatened, nothing unreal e...

Re: 10-16-2010. Another moment

Self inquiry has breakthroghs and setbacks. From this: I'm probably already playing another roll by this point but from here on forward I'm making it an effort to always ask my self, Who am I? What Roll am i playing? What am i imagining? I will not stop until I get stuck in that moment. NOW! Sounds...

Re: 10-16-2010. Another moment

"i love your imagination but I'm trying not to label myself to a definition!" Why are you trying, and more importantly what exactly is it that you hope to achieve by trying? There is no definition, only expression. These words I say, my previous post, they are a captured stream of thought flowing f...

Re: 10-16-2010. Another moment

Who are you? Who am I? We are infinite potential discovering its own definition through expression in every single moment NOW NOW NOW giving not a thought to the past but only to what can be expressed on the canvas of this universe through this life and with this exquisite human form right NOW. i l...

10-16-2010. Another moment

I've been reading through the forums and referencing the book whenever I find myself getting lost in thought or an emotion. I got back home today and as I was landing on the flight I could just feel the tension building up. I kept telling myself to just "watch." I even tried to invite it so I could ...

Re: 10-14-2010, my personal experience today.

Extend the consciousness zone so you can control more, let the unconscious zone get smaller and smaller. control more thought? Good advice, all i try to do now is try and be aware of what I'm thinking. Throw out the negative and keep the postive. "The Power of Positive Thinking" sort of perspective...

Re: 10-14-2010, my personal experience today.

Whew. Busy times for you. It is ok to dial it back a notch or two. By that I mean don't lose your job or do anything really bizarre when you are footracing your mind. There is no need to race any engines. Some people argue with the concept that awakening is like "dropping veils" but I think it make...

10-14-2010, my personal experience today.

No father growing up. My mother was a raging abusive suicidal alcoholic man hater! We lived in a not so friendly neighborhood. I was a pig, I was trash, I was physically abused, I witnessed a very bloody near death suicide attempt at a young age. I was in and out of foster homes. We lived in a not s...
