Re: Dealing with people who try to belittle you

Like WW said, it says much more about them than you. Try to remember that they must be in a lot of pain to be projecting such things outward like that. People who need to bring others down to elevate themselves are deeply very insecure and scared; they need your compassion more than anybody. There i...

Re: Answering basic questions

If you are talking to somebody who lives in the realm of labels, you probably aren't going to satisfy them with your answers. You don't need to. Why put yourself in a box for them?

Re: "So am I saying that the universe is on acid?"

I love the idea, and that is a great quote.

"Other forms perceive a different universe." is a crazy thing to ponder.

Here's a picture I took a couple months ago in Costa Rica, it's a little blurry but feel free to use it.

Re: crosseyed meditation

Your meditation experience is very similar to mine lately. When I try to go deeper with meditation, I can also feel my eyes start to strain and cross. I think this may be an effect of tapping into some sort of energy with no clear outlet. For me at least, it feels like I'm plugged into an electrical...

Re: Demon possession and paranormal activity

Why are the Devil and demons prominent in these stories, when God and heavenly angels are generally absent? One can't exist without the other.

Re: Silence in relationships

Silence is a beautiful thing. I would make sure to investigate, though, if there's any subtle, disguised mind-play going on that these women are picking up on. Do you find you tend to be passive aggressive or to withhold your real opinion on something to avoid conflict? I didn't pick up on this from...

Re: Gravity

Is not choosing to eat a healthy mushroom rather than a poisonous one, based on experience and observation, a form of science? Why do we even have to separate "science" from life? The problems and objections seem to come via the distinction of science being a separate entity, rather than from the ob...

Re: Can bad parenting and early childhood trauma be a blessi

Most people say they did not have bad parents/parenting. It's a form or Denial! IMO, "bad anxiety issues" demonstrates some kind of inadequate parenting, but since I don't know you or your history, etc., there's not much that I can say about your life and your parents. Well yes, no parents are perf...

Re: Can bad parenting and early childhood trauma be a blessi

Everything is a blessing! It's my experience as well that Truth is found through suffering and darkness. This physical life operates through relativity, it's only by embracing both ends of the spectrum that we embrace Life itself. Gratitude for ALL of it, because all of it is a part of the path, is ...

Re: Everything is NOT unfolding as it should

Something happened to me this weekend that I think relates to the subject of this thread. I was wrapped up in one of my stories, feeling trapped, until all of a sudden I realized that the whole time I was choosing to remain in that space. I realized that I didn't need it anymore. I could choose to m...

Re: What is movement?

Nice post, EP. Experience, or Life, is the one thing that cannot be captured by words. When you think you have it, you've lost the essence of it. I think this is why we like to create intricate constructs using the past and the future to assure ourselves that we exist. A part of this is to convince ...

Re: The Money Effect

The point of his remark being that sometmes some latent energes rise up when a specific external situation is met. Thank you azooo, this is the main point I was hoping to discuss. I don't think it has to be as personal, or as divisive, as some here are making it out to be. It's not about us vs. the...

Hey smileyjen, I appreciate the tough love. I think I hear what you're saying. The example I used was just off the cuff and referring to a hotel situation that I'm really not losing sleep over (one of them is now fighting me over paying the $50; he drives a brand new BMW.. I realize it's completely ...

Re: The Money Effect

Your posts are always refreshing, treasure! I'd like to see the look on that lady's face when you don't play into her roles, and just show her love anyway. That's powerful. There are people in my life too who sometimes get to me when it comes to money. For example, a couple of my friends (ages rangi...
