Re: So is it all a game?

....if we do sadly depart this world what is the point? I suppose that if we are immortal beings which fundamentally doesn't matter what we do - is this effectively just a game? Is the reason I'm in this life (ie why my souk chose yo be mortal) the same reason we play computer games? Or is there an...

Re: The wonderful world of work

Many people are unaware of their own reactions so you should give yourself a pat on the back for noticing your own reaction. ;) Pressures are integral part of work life. Let them come and stay. It is how we deal and react to them that counts. People who break down and give in to unreasonable pressur...

Re: Reviews, please - Butterflies Are Free To Fly

It is an interesting read! Re: Long period of low energy

But I'm kind of running out of patience. What can I do to speed up this process  , I want high energy. "to a few years" Get enough rest/breaks (no point sleeping 10 hours every night but if you read non-stops for long hours during day time), make sure you have regular nutritious me...

Re: Long period of low energy

Last 50 days or so, I've been on very low energy. I believe the cause for this is related to spirituality. Would you care to share how you come to the conclusion that your state of low energy is related to spirituality? At first, I got physically sick because I was pushing myself through it, so I s...

Re: Do you have an ebook reader?

Actually, I'd also appreciate any feedback from users who have been using a Kindle without any issues, and how long you've been using it. Both Kindle DX and Nook Classic I ordered two years ago are still working fine. For those who like to bring along their e-reader wherever they go, it's strongly ...

Re: Exploring Negative Emotions

and you gave me a wake up call, instead of shoveling out advice you told me my cup was too full for anything to get through. You probably remember that I didn't like it a bit or should I say my ego didn't like it a bit. :) I still want to apologize to you for the lack of tactfulness on my part. Bel...

Re: Suicidal depression

I think enough has been said here. Anything more will only lead to confusion and arouse further resistance. I suggest we let Manoj start his quiet contemplation and be in touch with the stillness within himself. Otherwise, he should consider seeking medical help as suggested by Dijmart. Manoj needs ...

Re: Exploring Negative Emotions

saying I'm going to only have positive thoughts and positive emotions is a trap the mind is setting, because it's impossible. Very well said. Hey, thanks! At least I said "something" right on this forum  Oh yes you do! You are one of the few lucky people here in this forum that I observed to h...

Re: Enlightenment seems to require "time"...

You need time until you realize that you don't need time. If not mistaken, this was what ET said, wasn't it? He also said the same about sufferings, when asked whether they are necessary or not.
