Re: good loa books

The best LOA teaching thing in my opinion, for me is the SGR Programme by Bob Proctor, Michael Beckwith and Jack Canfield. (If only there was some way that the programme could be copied and put on the internet for free to download...) But anyway, The law of attraction does work the trick is to find ...

Re: Olanzapine 2.5 mg

I'm in a similar boat I used to take olanzapine and am now on clozaril so I can tell you for certain on the right medication those nasty intrusive thoughts get weaker. One way of meditating is become aware of your thoughts and as they come up imagine them appearing as if on a teleprompter, that work...

Re: Schizophrenia

I have a form of schizophrenia myself, its called Schizoaffective disorder, like schizophrenia but with bipolar disorder thrown in. Whats helped me the most was my medication but my body is getting used to it now and isn't working as strong as it used to, what I'm doing to keep it at bay is using th...

Re: What way of becoming enlightened have you used? Did it w

I assumed enlightenment meant you are in a constant state of presence with the mind silenced. What is enlightenment if not that?

What way of becoming enlightened have you used? Did it work?

I don't know whether this has been answered by Eckhart Tolle (or any other what I will call "guru") Over a month ago with the help of a good friend of mine I discovered a way to achieve enlightenment (and I'll know if it works in 4 days), what I'd like to know is, what are you doing that which would...

Re: Astral Projection

Well I looked up "Astral Projection" and "Pot" and I got marijuanna. Apparently dreaming is a form of astral projection when your soul leaves the body and goes on some adventures. When you're dreaming and you're having a nightmare or just a normal dream and you try to scream or speak you can't open ...

Re: Eckhart Tolle Affected me Negatively

Thank you! I've been getting a load of signs from the universe that something interesting regarding consciousness and myself is going to happen soon "Consciousness working through me" was the sign and it brought me The Power of Now's "Origin of this Book" section describing how enlightenment affecte...

Eckhart Tolle Affected me Negatively

Its not his fault I took his message up the wrong way. When I first read "you are not your mind" I was put in to a state of "knowing" which didn't last but I was drawn to the The Power of Now. My mistake was that I ended up unconsciously believing that I wasn't my mind and everytime I suffered from ...

Astral Projection

I've raised my consciousness to a level to be able to leave my body, which is what it feels like. I didn't see much because I'm not at that level yet apparently, but I was brought to a place were I could see a fuzzy picture and came accross an area called "White Space". Something spoke to me there. ...

Re: How do you know when you are enlightened?

@Snowheight Oh ye of little faith! @ananda Thank you for clearing that up. I'm not all that sure if I want enlightenment anymore, its brought me to reject my experience of identification with the mind and emotions instead of embracing it which is missing the point entirely. @Peleke4 I just read it n...

Why do I feel bad?

I've been doing a meditation I mentioned in the "Beyond the Physical" section that increases conscious awareness and brings one closer to enlightenment. The universe (as strange as this might sound to you) lead me to a thread on someone feeling miserable after a panic attack and felt miserable for a...

Re: How do you know when you are enlightened?

I'm getting it now. Since I realised today that all my wanting of enlightenment is to escape the suffering my mind is causing, it was my mind wanting it all along. Once I got rid of that want I have been more awake.

Thanks for answering my questions everyone.

Re: How do you know when you are enlightened?

Alright I get you. When I become enlightened though, is my way of communicating going to be similar to Adyashanti's these people's http://www.greatfreedom.org/newcomers1.html ? I find their long silences a little unnerving as well as how they speak being different from what I normally get from non e...
