Re: Hello from the Positive Activist

I've stopped looking for answers and have started to just let things come to me and recognize why it's been brought to me.
The end of seeking is a great place to be, while always being open to new ideas. I love it.

BTW, I don't pray.

Re: I make myself crazy, can't stop thinking about something.

My question is: how to get rid of this kind of thing? This inner dialog, inner criticism, inner judging. And at the moments when I am very stuck in my head how to make the step out from it. How to find that inner peace, which won't be disturbed by any bad or good scenarios. You can't get rid of it....

Re: Do You Believe People People Are Becoming More Conscious?

We are currently in the middle of a Global paradigm shift. Shifting from the current Post Modern, Transnational Socialist (Globalist) paradigm to a Traditional Nationalist paradigm some might call Post Secular. Ironically, this is a global awakening. The powers that have benefited from the old Globa...

Re: Is this pain-body?

The pain body, is the emotional manifestation of the ego. So, in your regard at least, the anger and the propensity for drama, is the pain body. The pain body is a manifestation of collective and personal suffering and therefore can only feed on further suffering. It's natural desire is to look for,...

Re: Literally always 'in the now'

He could watch the same movies over and over and enjoy them like he'd never seen them before. It's interesting though, as far as I can tell, spiritual development requires a certain amount of memory in order to facilitate development. At least in order to reflect, digest and assimilate. This evoluti...

Re: I wander, if globally the world is getting safer, or not

The world as a whole is statistically getting safer, there has never been less war, although regionally, it might be getting worse. The western world is getting marginally less safe as we immigrate hostile peoples from 3rd world nations, while at the same time draconian collectivist attitudes and id...

Eckhart says the primary purpose of human existence is to know who we are at our deepest level and everything else is secondary. Only one thing is absolutely important, everything else is relatively important. I think it is relatively quite important to develop emotional and intellectual intelligen...

Re: Is presence really just self-restraint in disguise ?

I'm just saying that watching the mind is not as effortless and peaceful as Eckhart makes it out to be ... in my experience. Yes, you are correct. Watching the mind can be difficult, especially in a problematic life situation. Especially when we are in a situation that demands our complete attentio...

Re: Miserable when I Interact

Can I just stay away from people and just be perfunctory with them? Is that realistic? Yes, of course you can. Do that until you figure out why you feel the way you do. Be interested in the feelings that emerge. Know that these emotions are yours, they emerge from you. Know that you are allowing yo...

Re: How can I go beyond my identification with the will

Eckhart says not to expect people to be enlightened, as they are not. Most people are deeply unconscious and have temporary moments of clarity, much like human history. In this way, we develop understanding, compassion, allowing others, and ourselves, to be where we are at, without judgment or criti...

Re: Is presence really just self-restraint in disguise ?

I think you're on the right track here, I agree. I am more immersed in form than ever and find it extremely satisfying. Thinking, doing, being.....it's all good and what we're here for, in my opinion Once we know who we are at the deepest level, there is nothing left to do but play with form and pl...

Re: Is presence really just self-restraint in disguise ?

We don't overcome the mind through resistance, we overcome the mind through acceptance. "Is presence really just self-restraint in disguise ?" No, not at all. Presence is what we discover when thinking ceases. If we remove the paint from the canvas, we discover a blank white screen. If we remove tho...

Re: No going back, but is it worth it?

One sentence grabbed my attention like none other. "sometimes I just wonder if I could just go back in my life and pretend none of that ever happened" Could you stay here and now and pretend none of that ever happened ? :D I'm at that point in my life right now ... I don't know what the fuck happen...
