The energy of a deindustrialised world

What would the energy of a deindustrialised world feel like? By deindustrialised I dont mean we would go to extremes stop making goods or turn back to hunters and gatherers. But we wouldn't make mountains of 'stuff' and the money making aspect just wouldn't be that important any more. We just would ...

Re: Did the universe make a mistake with the ego?

I remember reading once in a channeling from jesus that all planes of consciousness go through an essential pattern of innocence / 'garden of eden' state -> ego -> enlightenment - Essentially as has been said so that we can truly understand our relationship to all that is.... - so no I don't think a...

Re: Help/thoughts Sought regarding my pain body

You can't likely jump from the bottom to the top. It's done one step at a time. Each one is a better feeling place than the one below. Learn to recognize these small steps and appreciate them. If you are depressed, get angry. If you are angry, get frustrated. If you are frustrated, reach for...

Re: Shame and the separate self

Thanks for the book recommendation Andy. At it's worst shame is encountered as a deep belief in guilt of character - soemthing that is believed to be rooted in the core of self and not of specific action or behaviour and from this can be seen to be unfixable. Thankfully the universe has a way of gen...

Re: Theory about the Universe

From the Way of Mastery (Which deals very directly with a lot of the above) Imagine, then, a pool of clear, still water. Into it you drop a solitary pebble. From the pebble there radiate waves. This is what is occurring constantly in the field of your wave of awareness. As you have attracted to your...

Re: Spiritual books

I am currently reading The Way of Mastery. By Jeshua and very similar to A Course In Miracles in many ways but much easier to read. Very inspiring. Volume one is called The Way of The Heart.

Re: Ambition and Love. What was my mistake?

Just a comment on ambition. Bear in mind that whatever you see in the world is a reflection of what is within. For ambition to be meaningful at all you must agree that you have a 'lack' that the ambition is seeking to fill. From that basic premise you will always have a sense of lack carried forward...

Re: Self is not a new "me"

Hi All, I have not posted for a while because I have been absorbing A Course In Miracles and it is changing my thinking quite a lot. Well not changing at such but putting 'old' concepts in different arrangements and at different 'levels', and very much making me aware of highly self defeating though...

Re: Regression or pure energy release

Hi Kae - in answer to your question kutto, and others that may recognise this experience, is this still happening with you? Or has it finished or changed? Yes very much still happening - still a lot of anger surfacing - i think it has been there a very long time although I am probably feeding more i...

Re: Amygdala Hijack or Pain Body?

The brain is part of the vehicle - Thoughts are ultimately the driver - many thoughts though are out of conscious awareness - all thoughts steer - not just the ones that pop in to conscious awareness at the end of the deep thought chain. Thoughts occur through the brain but are not ultimately of it....

Re: On a World Where Everything Is Free

To round this off I include this photo of a cabinet that my wife picked up from the side of the road as it had been put out for rubbish collection. The shelf and door handle were missing and it was scratched quite a bit. She sanded it, painted it, added a handle and a shelf and popped out the centre...
