Re: Who am i? Why can't i be a ever changing entity?
These are great questions Waverider. I know this thread is about a month or so old now. So, apologies if it's not relevant anymore. But, I think this question can never really be answered by the mind alone. And to truly get any bit of clarity on this, it would be recommended to either have your own ...

Re: Deep Heart by John Prendergast
Thanks Andy, his first book was great. I'm sure this one will be too. My friends and I have developed into big John P. fans since we heard him on a podcast which was actually about developmental trauma. He speaks from the heart and I find his voice very soothing as well.

Re: I AM
I thought of you while reading it because it's like a collation of the metaphysical and physical you've been exploring in really honest, simple language with refreshers on nde and beyond, clair seeing / knowing, time-space illusion, being etc. Thanks so much for contributing this Jen and thanks for...

Re: I AM
Those quotes made me think of Neale Donald Walsh's stuff on unconditional love, about it having no conditions, needs, or limitations in order to be expressed - and this part in particular - 'neither make a prison of your own devising in which you live a life you would not choose, in order that anot...

Re: I AM
Another one today from Jeff Foster. You can feel the inclusiveness of this one, in the way holding has no agenda. What we are, is this is open container for life itself.....experiencing via a human nervous system and body. We can never fully embody the depths of All that we truly are, while incarnat...

I AM
This was from Jeff Foster's Facebook page today. If anyone is familiar with Jeff's teachings, Jeff shifted gears a number of years back and is no longer a non-dual teacher, but he writes, along with this friend Matt Licata (who has some beautiful poetic writings in his own books), about the human ex...

Re: Maybe it's not ego and just a misdiagnosis
Interesting thread. I'm going to share some of my own tidbits I've learned from my own 4-5 years of doing trauma work, which I am still exploring. It's helped to understand how ego has formed and its relationship to the nervous system. If you're interested tchest, in a further exploration of the ego...

I am a hole in a flute that the Christ’s breath moves through. Listen to this music. I am the concert from the mouth of every creature singing with the myriad chorus. Re: Our uniqueness
I can only refer to my own extended capacity in awareness in the light, doesn't actually 'go' anywhere, it just 'is'. Jen, I want to point to this part above. This part got me thinking about our human five senses of sight, sound, touch, taste and smell, and how that exists in a greater non physical...

Re: Our uniqueness
When we slow our awareness to experience the being more acutely, it allow us to identify and experience the cumulative effects of that particular combination, and when we widen our perspective we can also see unique elements of the energies that have combined to form it. It's kind of like having an...

Re: Our uniqueness
What comes to mind in the recent part of this discussion is the seemingly abuse of the word 'one'. What I get is an attempt at avoiding an acknowledgement of self. Or maybe I'm just not getting the point. I have often asserted that there is a distinction between the identification of what 'one' thi...

Re: Our uniqueness
HI there E2B - must have heard you calling ;) Seriously! Ring ring :) Maybe I'll come at it from the other end - before 'you' were, all of the 'unique' possibilities of you were already there ... yes? Energy just knits together into temporary form, be that a thought, a sigh, a finger, a leg, a buil...

Re: Our uniqueness
When the pronoun "you" starts getting used too much, usually with pointy fingers, it is that unpleasant reaction one was speaking about earlier. Reactions that most likely come out of dogmatism and cognitive dissonance (inability to meet the new because the eyes are the old), which is why one tries...

Re: Our uniqueness
But, could there still be a uniqueness....much like the Atman in Vedanta? I found this link on Quora. Thought it was really interesting. I love the idea of fractals upon fractals.... https://www.quora.com/If-the-Atman-is-o ... Guinness-1 Very nice link :D I, too, love the idea of fractals upon frac...
