I believe in freemasonry they do believe that they have to get to a certain rank to "unlock" a secret text. This annoys me. It's a cultish thing I don't like.
In rose-croix, i think they believe that adam and eve was placed on earth by aliens. So...

Re: Some thoughts on protecting family members
Yes I try to just nod my head to her theories. But it's frustrating at the same time when she somehow lectures us "lesser" people on everything she knows all the time. I will try to be patient and live my own life autonomous of her beliefs. I wish she would stop recruiting though.

Some thoughts on protecting family members
Hello all of you :) I haven't been on this forum for a long time. Today I felt like I would like to share some problems that have been occurring in my life recently. My mother in law and I have been very close for five years now, we have a wonderful relationship. About two years ago she joined the f...

Re: Mid-life crisis
I really like this conversation, i'm learning a lot about myself!
So if the last post is true, why does spirituality so often create recluses? I guess what I'm saying is I don't want to become some holy spirit-figure.

Re: Mid-life crisis
Thanks to these wonderful replies :) I think it's just too bad just when you become comfortable in your own skin and do things close to your heart, there is always going to be someone yelling: "Get a job!" Well. I find it hard to balance my spirituality and everyday life. Maybe my career will reflec...

Mid-life crisis
I haven't really been able to put this into words until now. I think by the age of 26 I'm having a crisis! It sounds ridiculous as it's not that old. But I feel unrelevant and almost "uncool". I wrote this post on a music forum. It gives some insights into my thought patterns: "Do you guys have unhe...

A funny thought
To me this forum is becoming more and more like a spiritual forum. Nobody is saying anything, which kind of gives me the meditation association. Is everyone so spiritually awakened that they don't need internet anymore? It looks almost a bit dead. Nobody has nothing to talk about? Or has people migr...

Re: Stressors and de-stressing - An eternal dance?
I am doing a review of my earlier topics, to see if I agree with my older self. Sincerely though, the topic of stress is something that divides me. Recently I've been living very from one moment to the next and I have been unemployed for some time, and I kind of miss the stress. I feel almost like I...

Re: Open relationships
This thread is extremely interesting to me. Last time I posted on this topic, I spoke strongly against open relationships. I don't know when I posted here, it must be more than a year ago now. The person who initially wanted one realised she didn't, And I who was against it kind of went into one. No...

Re: A practical question about meditation and studying
Thank you!
So if I removed every thought I had about not having a job.
Would it help me find a job, or make me so happy even without a job that I wouldn't work to find one..
Stupid question, I guess..

I also used to let fear motivate me. Recently there is some fear in me, about jobs and those sort of things.. Career choices.
This time around however I find the fear rather paralysing.
