I have clarity .. i live in a state of consciousness much of the time and chose to express how i see things using words and phrases i thought appropriate to my understanding you should be careful, as ET talks about, about you making your identity one of a spiritual master ... that is as dangerous as...

but i have a tendency to quote ET a lot.. and he uses that phrase "little patch of consciousness" in one of his presentations... we are 4 billion people on this world, and all equal God.. .it is one of those earth-based thoughts that probably could be phrased differently but nonetheless makes a poin...

we are all little patches of consciousness "trying to make our way home" like the song goes... back to the source which is GOD.. that is existence as I understand it ... we are present moment pieces of GOD

The Flowering of Consciousness is great and well worth the purchase

... and just an FYI.. the early ET video/DVD stuff is of really poor quality.. not to say ET doesn't shine through but his newer DVD's are of much higher film and editing quality.
