Anger - can we 'tune' consciousness?

After having somewhat of a relapse last week (anger got the better of me/had an outburst) I can see that I have been given a very clear message that I have further to go on my spiritual path. Possibly the only reason I've had said outburst is that my situation has changed in that I have much more ti...

Re: Pain body when waking up

Coming into this post a bit late but hoping it may be helpful to any who subsequently view this easily overlooked aspect of life and spiritualism. I definitely know about that somewhat instantaneous and sneaky 'just woke up pain body'. It is as sneaky as 'fast anger'. I see the morning PB as a patte...

Re: Annoyance with conscientious people

I might suggest tracking down ET's talks of 'the little me'. This was a 'golden gem' find for me as one who searched and searched for the reasons why people or that 'certain' person could anger or upset me SO MUCH. Well of course it is the still evident but dissolving 'little me' and the residual eg...

Re: Help with sometimes getting stuck in ocd-like thought loops

uggh... the 'musical earworms'. them and thoughts of regrets of the past. not fun. To a degree though, I no longer insist on seeing 'earworms' as so much of an enemy to my presence. Truth is, most of the earworms I get are songs that I quite like, not always but a lot of the time. To a degree I've r...

Re: Is it worth telling someone that something they did upset you?

IMO I pretty much think that if someone has upset me, firstly I must consider that I've had or am having an ego reaction and not taken time to have perhaps a more presence or 'space based' response, which may well mean saying nothing at all. Of course trying to ignore something that has wildly upset...

Re: Did you give up alcohol?

You know, to be honest it may sound strange, but I almost miss it. I drank quite heavily and regular from about 30-50 years old. On and off to some degrees but oh there were times when I experience a 3 day hangover. And that was the *key* for me. Finally it was the 'hellish' aspects of the dreaded h...

Excellent response. Not often I get one that leaves me feeling satisfactorily answered so my hat is off to you Ww! Seriously - spot on.

Best regards,
Guy.

Re: "allow what goes wrong and see the magic" source of removed youtube content?

I totally know what you mean. I'm pretty sure that people upload ET's stuff onto YT without having the 'rights or 'permissions'. Thus his marketing/legal? people send notes to said non-legit up-loaders' informing them they are breaching copywriter laws, resulting in either YT and/or the uploader rem...

Re: Those so desperately having to *Identify* as something.

Thank you - interesting. So then, couldn't one surmise that one should as much as 'evolve' and go beyond the conditions of ego and identification... IOW... 'yes, I identified as XXX then came to realise indeed I was identifying primarily via my ego including the need to espouse and announce to anyon...

Those so desperately having to *Identify* as something.

Are people who (often desperately and loudly) 'identify' as something missing the point? Is it not highly egotistical to loudly espouse how one 'identifies'? Wouldn't we all be better off if each person would just be? Seems to me that many who 'identify' are very often shoving it down the throats of...

Re: The Monster that is 'Regrets'

Thanks for taking the time to jot this down WW. A great composition and one that I no doubt will return to review a number of times to ensure it all sinks in. You really tuned into what I was getting at and gave me a few nails to put into the lid of my 'regret monsters' coffin.

All the best,
Guy.

The Monster that is 'Regrets'

(Didn't see to see any posts that specifically bring attention to this but happy to be informed/directed if otherwise!) One of the last few 'monsters' that my mind likes to 'toy' with me is by reminding me of regrets both from long ago and the more recents ones. I've gotten pretty good with my under...

Re: My Mind haunts me when I sleep. How do I stop it?

Could you try putting on a (small) set of earphones and attach a player. Line up a bunch of ET's talks, even better if they are relevant to your overall situation. Listen to him speak at a low level, comprehend what he's talking about and in time I'd bet you'll fall asleep. If the earphones fall off...
