Re: Kundalini experience with PON

Hi Tzidaos,

That sounds like a kundalini rising...the more you are in the now, the stronger it rises...sometimes my whole body shakes and convulse. Do not be alarmed if this happens, just observe and let it be.

Re: Fear of Awareness

The deeper I journey into awareness often, the more fear I experience. This is not an experience to be afraid of....of course not unless you are identified with the ego. It is somewhat a blessing in disguise, because for me I know that awareness and peace is just beyond that fearful feeling that sur...

Re: Define Enlightenment/Define Awakening

We always know the answers intutively deep down inside when we finish asking it.

The challenge is to accept the simplicity of the answer :)

Re: Smoking

I tried quitting also many times, all it takes is one time to say: "What is this for?" Then I realized I was using as a crutch to calm my nerves and emotions. Well, PON helped me to just experience it and not use nicotine to mask it. Take deep breaths, be in the now. Go on long walks, be the space a...

Re: Define Enlightenment/Define Awakening

Surrender!

Wherever you are, whatever you do, whatever happens in the now. Make it the most important thing of your life...like breathing.

Re: Define Enlightenment/Define Awakening

I cannot speak from what I think of enlightenment, but of what I experienced to be a glimpse of enlightenment. After being in a state of no-self for over a day (which is truly liberating beyond description, no bliss, no observer, no self, no problems, everything just flow and there is only oneness t...

Re: Am I a chicken?

This reminds me of a cute story I heard told by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh at a retreat years ago i participated as a teenager. A man was hospitalized because he was mentally ill with an affliction of identity crisis. He believed himself to be that of a pea. Upon hospitalization, the doctor came and...

Re: Going Beyond the Witness

lanroh, Thank you for being here. My journey have been also undertaken here with the guidance of those on the forum (and my master in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam ofcourse :D ). In the practice of being one with the oneness, there are many obstacles created by the mind. Sometimes pointers, esspecially ...

Re: Going Beyond the Witness

We are like God sitting alone coming upon that ones existence is the observed. I know I would get crucified by the Christians for this, but "we are God". The formless has always been and always be. There is no division between the form and formless. To be liberated is to be free of all mental...

Re: Going Beyond the Witness

Andy, here is something I guess a bit simplier from a practitioner point of view. When we follow the PON, we find silence and eventually the spaciousness around thoughts, the watcher. However, beyond that, what we think is awareness or the watcher is still personalized...because it is locally focuse...

Re: Going Beyond the Witness

The nature of thought, and how and why one gets attached to thought and corresponding emotions, is made apparent. The One who considers fidelity to Truth paramount takes these insights and realizes the utter uselessness of most thought. Some will hang on to self-aggrandizing thoughts misperceiving ...

Re: Highly Unconscious Individuals - How Do You Cope With Them?

Hi buckeyeboywonder, I had an experience not long ago. I felt that the world is so unconscious and that the unconscious energy of people push and pull you into being unconscious, then there is anger, pain and suffering. I wanted so much to join a Zen monastery, where life is simple, no money to be m...

Re: The energy of awareness?

letigo, In my experience, also not just that of Tolle but Buddhist Vipassana meditation, energies and tingling sensation, heat or cold or waves of energies moving in the body is not something to dwell on. That's more thinking. Personally, I was caught up on that for a while until my master dispelle ...
