Re: anyone else experience an "echo" of thought?

Congratulations Don, On rediscovering the true you. The one "who watches" is the true self that we all forgot. When we accept, surrender, and continue to watch the five agregates (form, sensation, perception, mental formations and consciousness) in it's rising and demise, then we will begin to see d...

Re: Epiphany of sorts and a question

Hi Georgia, I am glad that you have enjoyed reading the posts on this forum, I have learned many things here. To answer your question...if I may... through some very "impersonal" understanding of mine  When consciousness is aware of itself as being, and clears the veil of the ego and its import...

Re: Some pressing questions

Why do we have a pain body and an ego? What purpose do they serve? If they are not "me", than what are they? Illusion? How can we observe and watch an illusion? Don Because it is the same as the real... but what does it matter? A hundred years from now to you? We talk about negative characteristics...

Fear.....constant fear....it's a doorway into more awareness.
I love it when I'm totally shivering with goosebumps....it's an amazingly exhilirating feeling.

It's great to be alive.

Re: Some rambling observations

When I first awoken, I thought: "Gee, all these people, so unconscious." Observing all the people who are around me. Firstly my family and friends. I tried to talk to them, gave them PON books. Some read it then moved on to another...quoting..."that was an interesting theory." "How? How can I wake t...

Re: What Do We "Know" About Enlightenment?

I like to share what I had learned about enlightenment.... There is a big difference between "Awakening" or "Satori" experience and true Enlightenment. Once a person have a brief Satori experience, it is a brief glimpse of the state of "no-self" or "egoless state". However, people drop in and out of...

Onceler, I totally agree with you.....once you have bliss....sex pales in comparison. Bliss is like 10,000 folds to that of a sexual orgasm, a whole body orgasmic experience. I don't know about anyone else, but my partner and I seriously enjoy our meditations and....our sex life. There is no c...

Re: Presence in the "now" and some secondary effects

Hi Balu, Your state is not unusual...I have too experienced it. Simple things like taking enough time to rest each night, drinking enough water, eating enough fruits and vegies will help a little. You're experiecing the shift in your physical body to the change in consciousness. It's pretty typical ...

Re: experiences similar to OBE

Hi thenow, I don't consider my experiences OBE but more so "into the body experience" since it all happens in my body and extended beyond my body to the vastness that is the stillness. The dreadful fears were there, the shift into heaven-like consciousness, and yes...the oneness. Great, whenever I a...

Trying to explain that which cannot be explained by words....is like...the more you say...the further you are from the truth. More noise.

Re: Kundalini experience with PON

Boogeyman, Your wife's understanding of Tolle does not trigger your Kundalini experience. It's more likely that while you are stargazing, for a brief while you were immersed in the awesomness expand of the universe and your awareness is heightened becoming aware of the big "I AM" than the "little me...

Re: Why and how do you meditate?

I've done a different number of Buddhist meditation to calm the mind and focus since i was 15. However, Tolle really brought me back to Vipassana meditation where surrendering is done all the time. I do sitting meditation twice a day for an hour each time and I found that it tremendously helps my co...
