Re: My Personal Experience

I always love the hysterical laughing at absolutely nothing.....when the bubble bursts. Sometimes on business trips, I told my co-worker "be warned..I tend to burst out with hysterical belly laughter just by looking at the clouds." He didn't believe me until he saw me just rolling with laughter on a...

Re: Simplicity

Sounds like you got the essence of now....just be. There is nothing other than the "Now".....things comes, you do, things goes, you let it go....watch the thoughts and watch what you do and let it be. There is a profound truth in simplicy and accepting uncertainty. The only thing you can do is what ...

Re: Kundalini experience with PON

I had a little bit of a rising when I was 15 and did meditation regularly. It caused my arms and head to move by itself without my efforts or assistance. I was scared then and stopped meditating. Off and on I would feel like hot flashes and had insomnia at night because of it. I thought it was Pre-m...

Re: Heart Sutra time!

I have grown up chanting the words of the heart sutra since I was six. Vietnam (where I came from) has a regular repetore of heart sutra chanting in all the Buddhist temple services. I memorized it for years without understanding what it talks about, it sounded like a real big riddle. But since PON....

Re: what to do if mental images come

The only word I needed to learn from Tolle was "Surrender".
That is more than enough.

Nirvana/heaven is here now

I like to share my experience as to encourage everyone to surrender to the now every moment of their day. I try meditate every moment I have, whether I sit, walk, or laying down, or going to the bathroom, or even while I'm working. I become aware of everything that happens in the now. I moved to a n...

Re: Is awakening a matter of understanding?

An "awakening" for me is something so profound beyond name, form or thoughts which you can categorize as understanding. It is not a belief or mental understanding, but a state of truely knowing without thinking having an insight into the oneness that is all. Now, all words described here failed mise...

Re: What Do We "Know" About Enlightenment?

We know nothing of enlightenment until we experience it.
All searching, yearning, need to define, explore it with the mind are fruitless.

Sorry to be so blunt.
But "being" is all that there is. Sometimes that is too simple for the mind to grasp.

Re: My experience - and where to focus to find oneness

Jamie,

I remembered again a quote from the Buddhist Diamond Sutra...which helped awaken Hu Neng, the 6th Zen master of China.

"Located and focused no where in particular, that is where you'll find the true self."

Re: Unexpected experience during meditation (What is this?)

Great, Jump into it...you'll find the "void" is very wonderful. I love jumping into that "void" everytime I meditate. You're at another state in your being. Remember, no visualization, no imagining, no expectations, just observe and accept everything. That is the key to going deeper into the now. I ...

Re: My experience - and where to focus to find oneness

Hi Jamie, Following Tolle's teachings for two years to practice being, I found that there are several level of consciousness that you can go through as your awareness is becoming stronger through the practice. I had a bit of a head start since I had a satori moment two years before I found PON and w...

Kundalini experience with PON

I had my kundalini rise after practicing PON two years ago....it's still going. Everytime I sit and meditate, my whole body shakes or when I'm going about my day, everytime I go into being, I can feel massive energy rush to my head up my spine. Sometimes the energy rushes like a tidal wave, so stron...

Re: Surrender

Surrender to me is just something so natural....relax, accept....watch.

If you're trying or putting any efforts in surrendering....you're not surrendering.
Zen calls it "the way of no efforts".....just watch.
