Hi, I'm not sure that i really understand Weichen's perspective. I was drawn to this thread because of the title, as I consider Procrastination to be an elaborate defence mechanism - ie Avoidance. Procrastination, or Looping, Repetitive thought patterns, Indecision..... Whatever you want to call it,...

Re: God

Do you have to believe there is a god in order to become enlightened(or even more present)? Seems everyone here does except me. Hey there, Funnily enough, I started a discussion on another forum about this very same thing (although the probability of the same ideas emerging here are quite high I su...

You wonder if they will mature fast enough to safely handle all the new powers they are acquiring. Knowledge can be built by the group, over generations. And knowledge seems to grow exponential...

Hey jfavro, I'm glad to hear that your experience with Vipassana meditation went well. I too have been absorbing the power of now teachings primarily on an intellectual level, and whilst many people may find a natural aptitude towards being present, not all of us have this advantage. I have just joi...

Intellectual understanding...but not experiencing The Now

Hello to everyone here - this is my first post on this forum. I recently came across the power of now, and I have to say, i found it to be mindblowing. Unfortunately, I have this rather irritating affliction whereby I am good at intellectually understanding something, and even go so far as to try to...
