Re: the monday blues and t.g.i.f.

I like this topic and would love to hear more on it... I think it could relate to other situations. I feel new and refreshed in the morning able to "be" but as night approaches I get a sense of dread and that seems to be a time when I feel vulnerable and start to question things. I "think" I functio...

Re: Difficulty dealing with the social side of things.

Hi Tracey, I am finding that if I just "be" and not push like I used to, it feels more natural. For 30 some years I have tried to push myself into social situations because I thought something was wrong with me for NOT being like everyone else. Sure I have met a few friends and had some fun, but for...

Re: What is communication?

No. I cook better than anyone I know and I have a car and my friends aren't the type of people who would drive me somewhere anyway. My dad won't let me borrow his car when I'm in his city. Both my mother and step-mother are shitty cooks. My dad's O.K., but he just does it to show off at parties and...

Re: j. krishnamurti

I have been reading all the posts about Tolle being fully realized?? with interest. So far in my journey I am able to see and "take" what resonates right with me from different "teachers" or sources or pointers. Which is a little suprising as usually my mind wants to analyze everything...lol. But I ...

Re: Loss of interests with new found inner peace

Thanx for this post Piercej...it really helped me to see this is somewhat of what I feel or where I am at right now. But I have this nagging all the time that I need to be doing something...or something to help others...or giving...hopefully with more consciousness I will find that purpose.

Re: death of ego and depression

Hi all you Sweet Shining Lights!, Yes, and my friend William Samuel wrote a whole book about finding that Child within ...and how much we do become like kids at Disneyland! Living again, coming alive again... Yes, from your post here, I gather that you must be dancing in The Same Meadow as William ...

Re: The gay concept and religion.

Not really weighing in on this subject per say...but I wanted to make a comment. There is a Lifetime movie which I haven't seen (with Sigourney Weaver) Prayers for Bobby?? The previews alone are touching. She says "I need to make peace with this and I can't she may say this after his death but this ...

Re: Eckhart and Abraham differences?

Thank you all for the replys. I worried that I did not make what I was "thinking" clear but you all hit right on. I sometimes feel down but don't let myself "imagine" a way out or go onto enjoy anything. I have always had some kind of wall up like I don't deserve to let go and be happy or peaceful c...

Re: Eckhart and Abraham differences?

I feel compelled to respond to powerblower's post. I came here searching the word "lonely" I am home alone and will be for some days and have been off and on over the past. This has allowed me to have the time to read Tolle, come here etc...but I get this overwhelming sadness loneliness and feel res...

Pointers, tips, etc

Hi, I am taking a few days trip with family and want to "be" present as much as possible. I love coming here and reading, following the links and such. Many if not most of what I read I want to hold onto throughout the day or moment...but that requires thinking (and then i get overloaded) and yes ma...
