Re: Accept the Moment as if you had chosen it

The answer that came to me was "I am the present moment." It was later I heard the transcript of the 2007 broadcast, which is why it was so stunning to me. Sighclone, that is very interesting - fascinating! Do you remember what else Eckhart said regarding that quote in the broadcast? All interestin...

Re: Can young children become aware?

Being awakened is the same as being conscious/present it is just that most of us are so for tiny amounts of the time whereas others are present for longer

Re: Discussion: The Johnny Tolleseed Project

Techguy I actually agree that donating to a library is a good idea, it allows the 'discovery' of ANE by individuals who are ready for it. For example, at my local library there is a copy that is out on loan - methinks almost permanently!!! So it is a good idea in principle. And best of luck. Interes...

Re: ANE - 2005 and 2008 version - differences?

Hi

Anyone know about a new edition of ANE supposedly coming out in January (in the UK at least)? I don't know if it is a new edition of the 'old' one or the 'new' one?!

Re: How much presence?

Sighclone Many thanks for your great post, thanks for the encouragement. That is a good point about being present a percentage of each minute. I won't be too hard on myself now! Yes I need to 'accept' what is happening.... I am seriously thinking of getting ANE, I will try and savour it (I have a ha...

Re: advice re Tolle's books

Hi randomguy I'm glad that the audio is benefiting you, I agree listening to audio is probably more convenient. When I listened (and read the transcripts) on Oprah's webcasts, I found it helpful to listen to his voice. The only 'problem' was that Oprah frequently 'interrupted' (although she did clar...

Re: advice re Tolle's books

Thanks Sighclone - yes I agree Eckhart's words are special. I will probably get round to reading it at some point. I used to be frenetically reading everything in sight but now I'm older and 'wiser' I am trying to savour what I read. Just out of interest - what is the difference between the original...
