Re: Procrastination - a form of resistance?

If it were me procrastinating, I would try as nutty experiment just allowing the procrastination to be there. When I procrastinate that resistance (in my case it would be resistance) would feed the procrastination energy. I deal with some pain and when I just allow it to be there and not resist ther...

Re: Meditation - open or closed?

Adya changed meditation for me 180 degrees after listening to True Meditation. I heard if you go to adyashanti.org and look under writings he has a description of what we are talking about here under True Meditation. It's free.

Re: Awareness

Hello again Andy ~ Thank you for your reply and explanation. The Mahayana Buddhists deny the concept of atman, suggesting that holding to that concept promotes attachment or aversion. So the word atman seems to describe what initially woke up (Oneness). I can see it, taste it, touch it, feel it, hea...

Re: What is your experience resting as Source?

I am for sure not abiding in an awake state. There is a change in resting lately anyway. I did however last week have a real bad day where everything was being questioned. It was one of the darkest days I've had in a long time. Ego was even trying to question the very deep realizations, that was one...

What is your experience resting as Source?

I am curious about others resting as what they are. Once I woke up to oneness I knew "I" was everything. A great sense of relief came with that but still there was something I wasen't completly content with, it was driving me a bit crazy. 8 months later an experience of What I Really Really am the S...

Re: Awareness

So maybe what is being said is the awareness is what's Beyond manifest and unmanifest. Awareness where mind cannot go. Yet I still see it as many teachers say It as the manifest the unmanifest and Beyond is What we are. Maybe where I sometimes get hung up is when only the Beyond is being spoke about...

Re: Awareness

I experience the essence that Everything is as a one trick pony. I get that the mind cannot cross the gap that is the limit of the mind. The reflection of the sun is not the sun but that's only in "apperances". The Essence that everything is, reality, is the reflection and the sun all at once. As fo...

Re: Awareness

Which can start out as realizing what you are not. Hi Key Master, What I know is that I am Everything. What I appear not to be and What I appear to be. I know what my true nature is and that it appears as this and that, appearing empty, appearing as form, Everything. There is nothing profain or pro...

Re: insecurity/self-consciousness/caring about what others think

Perhaps what people think is more accurately demonstrated by what they do?
I like this line but I think I'm going to print the whole thing that you said as a guide, HermitLoon.

Re: Awareness

This thread reminds me of when I realized i can't be aware of everything. It took me at least 12 years to figure that out  I tried so hard to be so mindful especially with people and of course it never worked! One day it just dawned on me what i was doing and i dropped it like a hot potato. In ...

Re: Tightness In Chest

To awaken within the dream is our purpose now I get that totally. Sometimes I start "doing" and then it leads back to unconsciousness and then I get smacked around and have to surrender again and I still keep doing whatever it is in one way or another to end up being smacked around. Adya says going...

Re: Tightness In Chest

presence seems to persist even in emptiness. Others may have a better sense of this than I, but even that awareness of void could not be known or remembered without a presence to observe it. This is exactly what I experienced of course. Thank you for putting it into words. And this Presence could e...
