Re: what is non-duality ?

It is really simple, direct experience. Now, where do you stop, end, ...and where does the computerscreen start ? Where is the exact border, the exact line, between you, consciousness, and the computerscreen ? Straightforwardly I could answer that by: the computer line starts where I can no longer ...

Re: New mum.....how can i stay present?

First off, congratulations on your new baby :) Not a long time ago, I was in the same situation as yours; the difference though is that I knew nothing about ET, meditation, releasing... It was an extremely tough time for me, because my daughter practically slept 20mns during the day and never more t...

Re: Just feel like giving up, so overwhelmed

Try one of the releasing techniques. Sometimes we need the mind to undo the mind. Something I would recommend in particular that really helps me a lot is whenever depression sets in(and it's quite rare now), welcome it and notice where you feel it in your body then imagine an open window right where...

Re: Law of Attraction vs Power of Now

The more you think of presence, the more present you are? That sounds contradictory to me. It seems most of the people here believe in the Law of Attraction. But how do you know it's true? Why contradictory? I'm not awakened... yet. So I'm still training my mind to focus on the present. I agree wit...

Re: Law of Attraction vs Power of Now

All I can say is the more I think of presence, the more present I am. The more I think positive thoughts, the more positive happen to me. The more I think negative thoughts, the more things that I resist happen to me and the happier I am when I think of money, the more money I have...

Awakening and physical pain

I'm curious to know how awakened people deal with the physical pain. I would love to hear from members here such as Kiki, Ananda, Eputkonen, Hermitloon etc... about this subject. I know that physical pain and the perception of it are two different things. I know also that pain and suffering are two ...

Re: Influencing, and/or changing someone

Thanks guys. On the path, even if I do let go. What does that mean? Will stop wanting to change prevent me from changing? Are we talking here about changing yourself or changing other people? When you notice that pattern, that desire to control how people think or act, and welcome it and then let i...

That's what we call in the "The Sedona Method" "want of control" All you need to do is identify it, welcome it, and let it go. That simple!

Re: How do you shut up about it

This reminds me of my ego and its reaction towards meditation when I first heard about it. I remember it was in the late 90s and my sister wanted us all to try meditation when she saw its benefits. Not only was I completely indifferent to her preaching, but I also made fun of her with my other famil...

I truly, truly loved reading your post. It just gives an idea of life before Awareness and life after Awareness. Life will never be the same for us who have had a glimpse of awareness and thank God or whoever/whatever for that!

Re: Approval seeking

I don't have time to elaborate, but I too was wondering what would be the difference between seeking approval and doing the right thing. One day one forum member said: "If you expect a "thank you" or when you don't get a thank you after you did something for someone and you're disappointed, then you...

It's just not happening now. But when it happens, I have a hard time telling myself that it's just a memory.

Re: About "me"

As others have mentioned above, you will probably find a more effective way is to inquire, investigate or contemplate your experience in an ongoing way. Hi James, I have never been good at investigating. When I used to meditate, I sometimes did some investigation. It brought frustration and I ended...
