Re: ...and other natural laws

Hi Jukai I can appreciate it might be tricky to pick up on the joy and connection happening in this thread as it was happening relative to other conversations across the forum at the same time. Runstrails very much joined in the exploration and journey, my inspiration was that the law of attraction ...

Communicating with someone who is not present (when you yourself are present ---- comparison ) can be quite a challenge enemy? obstacle? means to an end? , because it's like you're speaking in a different language that they don't understand. separation with judgement If you stay...

Re: ...and other natural laws

Sorry Mystic, I hope you're still here - I hadn't seen your reply. Thanks for the link - what a wonderfully strange conversation they were all having - not because of their content or topic matter - but that they had this strange idea it hadn't been scientifically studied or discussed before. (even ...

Re: Presence Often Feels Like Ignoring...

Hi Nuance - nice tag degrees of nuance are important. Your thread here sent me back to a 6 page rambling thread created years ago now - if you have the time, you might find it speaks to both your expressed questions/thoughts you've mentioned across your posts, and maybe some as yet unexpressed. It m...

Re: ...and other natural laws

HI Mystic, This pattern keeps repeating from the micro-scale to the macro-scale: and every which way at once :) I tend more towards perceiving than believing... the devil is in the nuance/detail of the energies in motion (or not) for me, especially in the areas of awareness and capacity, willingness...

((((rach)))) keep us up to date with your progress. I'm interest in what the Ayurvedic will say, one here was able to help someone with reactive arthritis for which the modern medicine 'cure' was supposedly chemo, even with ridiculous side effects and no guarantees - yep, the immune system is terrib...

Re: Personal account from a "friend" of Eckhart

With 'friends' like that, who needs enemies used to be an old favourite saying. Somewhere along the line in that friendship one has been disappointed by the other. That is, their expectation was unfulfilled. This person is still projecting their expectations onto another. There are factual aspects ...

Re: What do you do :) to be aware and present, practically

Hello Lianna, I bring myself back to consciously doing the one thing we all do unconsciously... breathe. Whenever we take our mind and our heart to our breath all else becomes quiet. From there we can be with what(ever) is. :) It can be done anytime anywhere without any props or purpose but itself.

Re: A personal chat with Eckart

Hi Testigo, this might be a great opportunity for you to find your answers within (albeit with a bit of help from outside). Already it sounds like you are using this opportunity as a 'means to an end' - and bordering on it potentially becoming fodder for enemy / obstacle experiencing > suffering. ET...

Re: Righteous Anger

My response leans to wisdom shared by Elisabeth Kubler-Ross in her book Death is of Vital Importance, particularly a section about 'natural' emotions, and a wonderful sentiment shared by the Dalai Lama. Anger EKR says in its natural form - so then if you are accepting and staying present - lasts jus...

Re: Making Decisions without resorting to Egoism

ET talks about knowing that ego is in the driver's seat if you're making Enemy Obstacle Means to an end of a person, thing or situation. The first two are pretty easy to spot, the third --- means to an end --- is probably the trickiest one for me. If the response to a person, thing or situation is n...

Re: Making Decisions without resorting to Egoism

Great question J Can you see the way you widened your perspective on your own question after asking it? That's kind of it (for me) - looking at the wider 'environment' curiously, discerningly, and honestly. In totality no thing is right, or wrong. There is right for me in this moment - in the next m...

Re: The Deep Sleep

My very first memory and I guess 'question' was waking up in my cot as a toddler, before my older sister was awake. I clearly remember trying to figure it out --- (still haven't really) how come, when we come here in a big sleep from there, why do we have little sleeps here? The questioning was inte...
