Re: O yeah baybey ... !

“How beautiful it is to do nothing, and then rest afterward.” - Spanish proverb This is quite a challenge for me who likes to be in control and manage life and people but recently I have been making space and allowing the world to unfold as it is meant to. There is also fear that I wasn't aware of ...

Re: Unrequited Love and Let Go

I-surrender, the pain you feel comes from living in the past and future. Focus on the now and you will feel no more pain. Surrender to the fact that what is - is. Then you will feel no more pain. My guess is that your pain body gets activated by rejection and so you unconsciously seek out relationsh...

Re: opinions please. Tolle = another lost chance at hope?

I believe that Eckhart Tolle is like an artist who paints because he has to or a composer who writes music because it's in him and it needs to get out. I am a writer and I write without asking "who is going to read this," or "do I have a message to share," or "I need to make some money so I better w...

Re: What happens in our brain/mind when we win over a big fe

Sometimes it's just depression with me, low energy and wanting to stay home and sleep. I have to remember to ask myself, "what is my greatest fear here" and once I put my finger on it, (fear of rejection, judgment, abandonment, loneliness), I know that I have to go and do it (face the fear). That's ...

Re: Dealing with the pain body

I also tried nearly everything to deal with pain. I even moved half way around the world to get away from the source, but it was within me and I attracted the same kind of situation. Many years passed before I found ET and the Power of Now, so when the pain body hit me again in a big way (it was the...

Re: How did your interactions transitioned and changed after

I've also been interacting less from the ego and making more space in my interactions with people. I am conscious of letting others initiate conversations, listening more, judging less, accepting more, wanting less, resisting less (or at least I catch myself resisting more often and then accept). Th...

Re: Need some clarity on life changing decision

It's not up to me to give you advice, but I try to go where my greatest passion and fear is. That's where the juice is. When you are 100 years old, what will you regret the most? And yes, I've fallen on my face many times but I don't regret following my passion and the juice.

Immanual Kant's means and ends

Immanuel Kant's theory of morality, the categorical imperative, states that it is immoral to use another person merely as a means to an end, and that people must, under all circumstances, be treated as ends in themselves. This is in contrast to some interpretations of the utilitarian view, which al...

Re: accepting appearance

As a 5'3" female I agree. Some men are just waaaay too tall for me and I don't want to feel like a child next to them. And I would suggest you might want to take a look at the shorter male movie stars or successful men in other professions for role models.
