okay, okay, hurt...
Thank you Chelsy for showing me that apathy to pain (and even allowing mind to race inside) has its positive side. That's something I did not realize before, your feedback is much appreciated :D

the means by which we approach every moment contains vast elements. Posting same post in this forum with the separation paradigm (I am more enlightened than you are) or with the unit consciousness (we are one) is extremely different from each other. The more "enlightenment" posts we post out of sep...

It is ok to attack (in the sense of physical damage, killing, war), but do so out of paradigm of unit consciousness. War is not for destruction of the other side, war is for peace and harmony. It's ok to conquer Berlin so that the people of world (including German people) can live in peace. in contr...

my first reaction to heidi's comment: she missed what I meant
my second reaction to heidi's comment: ahh, I got her

both my reactions are fine

it is also fine if my second reaction (stillness response) becomes my predominant first reaction in future.

first reaction or second reaction ?

if your first reaction (quick reaction) is different from second reaction (slow reaction), which is better ? to me, my second reaction is often better. This is because my first reaction is often very old, way overdue for update. My new reaction is slow, but its speed is getting faster. in case of ET...

mccpcorn, when you say "I wonder what my next thought would be", say you like you mean it, put a little emphasis on the word "wonder", experience the sense of wonder, curiosity. This should wake up the watcher. make sure you try it when having stomach discomfort. If there are thoughts rushing in aft...

the state of no thinking (peace) leads to an indiscriminate lover, who loves you regardless whether you are Mother Teressa or a terrorist. This is true love, self love

you need to give some examples. indecisiveness can be an alias of infinite loop thinking. It could just mean that you have conflicting values where thinking will never find a solution, and infinite loop is the most common trap. ET's teaching of watching the brain, power of NOW etc are very relevant ...

In a civilization where being fat is regarded as the ultimate beauty, then a girl whose weight goes down from 300 LB to 290 may experience an emotion called "fear". 911 terrorist would experience an emotion of fear if he thinks he may miss the flight, because getting on the flight and hit wall trade...

Din, I am not sure what ET meant you can't stop self from thinking. He said clearly that he is now capable of siting in a room with no people for hours without thoughts. When I do experience physical pain, I often found myself in a state of apathy (which is very different from acceptance, apathy mea...

add a deep loathing device to the brain

ET used the term "deep loathing" to describe how he felt about his mind on the night of his awakening. If another person also suffered as much pain as ET (on his awakening night), and make an association of the pain with his mind , then he may be on a fast track to freedom as what had happened to ET...

There is only one mind ?

ET and other spiritual teacher make it clear that there is only one life, one spirit, one God. So it is rediculous to say "my spirit is true and your spirit is false". How about ego, mind ? It seems that we can also say that there is only one mind, one ego . I was watching foodball, and suddenly I f...
