Re: jealousy/betrayal in relationships

Here lies a very tricky subject. Tread carefully and slowly. If you have complete openness you will ask the question, "What does cheated on me actually mean?" There is so much emotion tied in with these phrases, that are all popularised by media, largely TV shows, and yet we rarely ask the big quest...

Re: My book about my experience in consciousness

Thanks Peas for showing the link to my book, to those who think I'm here just to sell my book, I think if someone like Eckhart Tolle was on this forum he would do the same, that is sharing his book, I am no different. It's a gift when someone judges you - a great chance to go deeply into the arisin...

Re: My book about my experience in consciousness

How do we access the book? It's on amazon (there it had one review) and Barnes and noble (there it had no reviews). His posts above look like they are quoted from the book- You can pre-read about 8 or 9 pages on Amazon. Only took a month of being here on this forum to start plugging the book ...

Re: ET and ACIM

I think the ACIM is what resonates with ET, it doesn't matter what scripture or books you read, any of them could ignite your inner being to awaken. I personally like the ACIM better than the bible, I also like the Bhagavad Gita, a little of the bible, but I wouldn't say you need to read these to a...

Re: End of Suffering??

So much passion. All brought about by trying to end suffering. What would we all do without suffering, hey? We probably wouldn't even be here today, our evolution would have finished many years ago. Perhaps we've all taken the word 'evolution' to mean 'one of these days' (I'll end suffering) instea...

Waiting for something to happen that will make me feel better
Here are two very different things: the present moment and waiting for something.

Re: ET and ACIM

ACIM is on Eckhart's recommended reading list , along with many other fine books. He has said that the whole book, which is very long (too long for me to sift through), can be summarised by the opening remark: Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists. I think this points to how you coul...

Re: What you resist persists - why?

Faith in science is one of the hardest faiths to shake, because it is predicated on the mental doctrine of infallible recordable proof. The fly in the ointment is that proof is perceived through our limited senses and then recorded and interpreted with our limited brain. Every scientist should reall...

Oh no! Now SmiileyJen has lost her smile.

The end is nigh, my friends.

Never fear. I'm still tiny, green and juicy!
