My book about my experience in consciousness

This book I have put together are my own thoughts on what I could make out of what I experienced; the experience of dissolving into nothingness. I have now put a label to it, the label is called Awakening, or Enlightenment. These words are not what I experienced but are the nearest descriptions I co...

Re: End of Suffering??

So much passion. All brought about by trying to end suffering. What would we all do without suffering, hey? We probably wouldn't even be here today, our evolution would have finished many years ago. Perhaps we've all taken the word 'evolution' to mean 'one of these days' (I'll end suffering) instea...

Re: I don't enjoy the present moment

Quite the contrary, its when you are no expecting something to happen, or doing anything for it to happen. You cannot do anything, you are already there, its your mind that makes you believe you are not there. The here and now is not in time, its beyond time, its what is, pure consciousness without ...

Re: ET and ACIM

I think the ACIM is what resonates with ET, it doesn't matter what scripture or books you read, any of them could ignite your inner being to awaken. I personally like the ACIM better than the bible, I also like the Bhagavad Gita, a little of the bible, but I wouldn't say you need to read these to aw...

Hi Fore, well I do have Scottish blood from my mothers side, and I do like getting drunk, and yes we are brothers in the sense that we are all one.

Re: End of Suffering??

I feel that its possible to awaken because of much suffering in ones life. Myself I went through a ton of suffering to get where I am now, or should I say to realize where I have always been, here and Now. I have been raped when I was young, I have been in situations where I could have been murdered...

Re: Is thinking always bad?

Is thinking always bad?.....I don't know I don't think about it, only joking. Thinking will always be there, its what the mind does, its realizing that we are not the mind that that the suffering caused by the mind finishes, its like a radio in the back ground, you can focus on it to listen to what ...

Re: Identity change question

If you are frightened of losing something you will never truly experience what is called enlightenment, when you realize your true self, you will become your true self, and if that includes the traits you like about yourself then that is what you will be, if that wasn't really you, and you were only...

It doesn't matter what you do as long as you do it, being in two minds is only going to confuse use you, its best to do something totally, be it totally wrong or totally right.

Re: End of Suffering??

Suffering to me means to cling to what you believe to be suffering, the mind body will at times feel what we call pain, but the pain doesn't belong to you, let the body feel the pain but don't own it.

Re: How to live in the world after "awakening"??? (lost)

Hi kwes , yes I know what you are saying, I myself cannot live with most people, or spend too much time with them, its not that I think I'm better but because I feel I have to try to be someone I'm not. Most of us wear a different mask for just about everyone we meet, we wear a mask for our parents,...

Re: Suicide vs Egocide

I think therapy has its place just as medication does, I am schizophrenic and I certainly needed therapy at a time in my life when I was suicidal, there is nothing to fear in therapy, it takes guts to do it and to keep to it. Reading self-help books such as Tolle's is also a form of therapy, telling...
