Re: Sexy thoughts
Sometimes when I get horny, my mind spins tales of what I'd like to do and it takes a while to settle it.

Re: Where words come from
Erict I understand what your saying, but it seems some people can mix in any crowd and get along and have fun. I find that very hard to do. Lupin if I went up and tried to talk to complete strangers, i'm sure they would think I was weird. Especially when I start a conversation and have nothing to sa...

Where words come from
In social situations I find it difficult to speak. I have nothing to say. Now this is hard because Eckhart and other teachers say that the right words will come from within. But whenever i'm around other people words don't come into my mouth, so i'm just the quiet guy. My inner stillness doesn't see...

Re: The Age of Awakening
I was having a bible study with an older friend of mine tonight. This lesson was on the end times. Now although i'm not christian I do enjoy the talks we have during these studies. Anyway he was showing me passages in revelations and the predictions its made. Some of them have already come to pass a...

Re: Gradual process or spontaneous event ??
I would love to hear the answers to this. I had my first glimpse of awakening over a year ago when I first read Tolle's book. I had a couple more, but they only lasted a few moments. Now i'm just working on presence.

Re: Is there a place for Crying?
Personally I've rarely cried in my life, not because i'm a hard man or something. I just don't. But if you do, I believe it can be a powerful release, and when its over you almost feel as if some negative energy has left you. Crying isn't a step backwards, it simply means you're in pain. But ask you...

Neale Donald Walsch is enlightened? I don't believe that for a second.

Re: Orgasm, an opening into the divine?
Well you can't have an orgasm forever. Remember when bhudda practiced ascetism(or whatever its called) and reached such a high experience that he said this must be enlightenment. But after doing this a number of times he became frustrated because he wasn't able to dwell in this state. He came to the...

Re: Orgasm, an opening into the divine?
Thats kind of like going after spiritual experiences. I believe thats the spiritual trap Adyashanti spoke of many times. Enlightenment is not an experience. If it has a beginning then it must have an end. But maybe it gives you a taste of enlightenment, who knows? But here's my advice. Get a girlfri...

Crucifixion
Hi, I just wanted to know, why was Jesus Crucified? Why did he allow himself to be captured and die a horrible death? I think we all know now that he didn't come to 'save' mankind, so that ends the christian doctrine. I know Tolle say's that his death represents the suffering of mankind and the poss...

Re: The Age of Awakening
This sounds all well and good, I just wish that I could wake up and join the party. Until then I'll have to float in the the bitter sea of suffering.

Re: Sexy thoughts
I think my question was, should I only allow bodily reactions when I see sexy things externally or can I still become enlightened generating sexy thoughts because my seems to urge me to. Thanks blueviceroy for the advice.

Re: Sexy thoughts
What I want to know is, can I still wake up getting lost in sexy thoughts or should I only allow them to come if I see something externally? I suppose that goes for any thoughts, sexy or not

Sexy thoughts
Hey all, This week I've found that my mind has been very still and i'm able to stay present almost continually throughout the day. However I don't. Although my mind doesn't molest me with thoughts I myself initiate sexy thoughts. I don't know why. Maybe I just find it a lot of fun, but how do I stop...
