Wonderful video explaining non-duality

Post by runstrails » Wed Oct 09, 2019 8:33 pm

Hi folks,
Hope everyone is well :D. Check out this wonderful video explaining Advaita Vedanta (non-duality). Great graphics, very easy to follow and great introduction for those interested in Advaita. Let me know if you have any questions.

P.S. You can ignore the last bit where he compares teachers.

Great video. Thank you.

When I look to a human, I see a chimpanzee. When I look to a chimpanzee, I see a panther. When I look to a panther, I see a rat. When I look to a rat, I see a neanderthal. When I look to the fake Neanderthal pictures in internet I see a human again. Ironically being aware of this clearly happens when a person is no longer attached to the form of things. All of the forms are just shadows of the ultimate reality afterall.

Thanks, rt!!! Swami Tadatmananda is enjoyable and clear. As a former computer scientist, and Westerner, he is very accessible, and his teacher Swami Darayanda Saraswati was delightful (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CMGb7FKffRc)! And this group was primary in Gary Weber's spiritual development.

Thanks Andy! Swami Dayananda was one of the best teachers of traditional Vedanta and he left a whole host of qualified teachers to continue the tradition (including Swami Tadatmananda). So nice to hear that Gary benefited from this lineage. I love reading Gary's blog.

Hope you are well!

Yes, I liked Swami Tadatmananda's videos. Very traditional Advaita Vedanta.

I have also attempted to explain nonduality via video. I created a play list of the four videos just on explaining nonduality - http://bit.ly/NondualityExplained

Thanks Andy for the link to Swami Dayananda Saraswati. I had not yet seen any of his videos.
Namaste,
