Self awareness vs awareness?

Post by Nyseto » Tue Sep 15, 2020 1:47 am

Does self awareness mean pure awareness or does it imply ego? There's no self in pure awareness because pure awareness is the self. So then is self-awareness to be wrapped up in ego or being aware of the ego? There's a real self, and a false self. So when the words self-aware are used, what self are they referring to?

We are usually aware of our EGO, which is to say, our primary personality. The awareness that is aware of this personality however, can never become an object of awareness.

The EGO or primary personality, is a fabrication that is both created by nurture and nature.

Rising above EGO or personality, so to speak, is the primary focus of spiritual development.
