Arising objects could be defined as any sense perception that appears to us, feelings, emotions, thoughts, memories, images, sounds, smells, flavours, etc.
What is that holds onto these arising objects?
Whatever holds these objects...can it also let go & release consciously?
In respect to these question hold out an object in your hand and sense it's presence, squeeze for a while and see how familiar that squeezing becomes... Then suddenly let go of the object and release. Feel the freedom and release of tension when letting go happens.
Can we do that same release method with our attention? If so how does one get attention to release its hold on certain objects?
