Who is the Christ?

Postby Mystic » Sun Nov 06, 2016 6:22 am

Life forms are relatively fragile and hence we experience suffering. As beings we experience a hierarchy of needs. Like a pyramid, the most basic needs at the bottom are water, food, shelter, warmth and rest. Moving up the pyramid there is need for safety and security, friendship, intimacy, love and relationships, esteem and accomplishment, etc. At the top of the pyramid is the capstone which is also the cornerstone and the realization of our full potential as creative beings. Who is the Christ? YOU are the Christ, which is the full creative potential within all beings. :D

Creativity is still in Mithya, apparently real, it's not pure, attributeless awareness. I was following you until the end, then it was off... Christ, as in Jesus Christ? Was just another "person" who knew his true nature and preached it, also was killed, because of his preaching! Creative potential. ...comes from Isvara (or God). It's not who you truly are, awareness.
Take what you like and leave the rest.

In Christian Mysticism, Christ is not a person, it refers to Christ consciousness, which is just another term for 'Brahman' in Vedanta..That is what Mystic means when he says ' Who is the Christ? YOU are the Christ'..
