Do you believe that the Source is almighty and or all knowing?

Post by Ervin » Tue Sep 18, 2018 4:24 pm

My opinion is that Source is almighty, but that Hem ( I say Hem instead of Him or Her)doesn’t know the future, because it hasn’t happened yet and I like to believe that we have free will.

Now, if Hem is Almighty, then Hem could know the outcome the future and we could have at the same time free will to go either way, but I don’t think that is the case, or maybe it is.

I dont' know. In any respect it's pretty impressive that the universe and life experience is here at all. So top kudos for that trick.

Check Alan Watts ,,Dream of Life''. He states that almighty and all knowing purposely limit Hes mind to have some fun.
Because Hes really do not want to have control. Lack of control means surprise, sometimes good, sometimes bad.
Life is like complicated computer game - there is no reason to play the game, but you do it just for act of play itself.
In the game you cannot get the avatar lvl100/100 at start, because you would won the game in first minutes. And than what?
The same with stories - who would like to read the story where main character is perfect and kill all monsters right away? Nobody? It would be no book at all.
If ones knows the future, there would be fun, no surprise and no game. One does not remember the he is One, because Hes doesn't want to.
And Hes doesn't want to know the future, because Hes want surpise.
We have no proof for this idea (like for most to be honest), but I find it very interesting and logic at least.
