The mind is truly conditioned by the past. :)

Sometimes when I get horny, my mind spins tales of what I'd like to do and it takes a while to settle it.
I would lick your feet, but is that the sickest move?

Thanks. That site may be useful to me (I've away from my GF right now). :)

lol it doest take the buddha to show that testicles can be removed, Lorena Bobbit can teach that, the buddha taught that sexual desire can be dropped. I think repression happens when one is taught by the outsie that sexuality is bad and then sexuality arises and there is conflict and supression but I think a fully educated person can simply drop sexuality or at least not act on it without conflict and in fact in joyousness. I think this culture produces sexual addiction masked as sexual normalcy so the very thought of celibacy seems alien where it is in fact that natural state. The word celibacy is much a word like sobriety, they are both your natural state but the mind can make them out to be something to be acheived.

Celebacy is hardly our "natural state". We're descending from generation upon generation of sexers. To mentally castrate yourself is perverse. To denounce your sexuality as unnatural or wrong is as bad as becoming completely addicted to it (two sides, same coin). It's like anorexia of the gonads.

im not talking about mentally castrating yourself. But sexual rest is your natural state. There is no difference between not having sex for one day and not having sex for 1000 days, there is no buildup of sexual energy waiting to explode out of you unless its compulsive sexuality which is now in my opinion rampant and people are identified with it as natural sexuality. The only sexuality we are presented with in this society is sexuality as vice and this is the perversion. Sexual activity is not the natural state, sexual rest is.

Sounds like you believe what you want to believe.

That's like saying hunger is not a natural state and fullness is or that cold is wrong & hot is right, etc.

You're creating duality for some reason.

How can you compare celibacy to sobriety?
The desire to have sex occasionally is a healthy, normal desire, pretty much like hunger.

Someone without an appetite for food is normally regarded as being unwell and usually is. The Taoists in ancient China believed that the same was true for sex: someone without an appetite for sex was suffering an energy imbalance / block.

A healthy sexual appetite is a sign of good health. This doesn’t mean an obsession with sex or prolonged watching of pornography. Just like with food, when our appetite builds up we eat, but we don’t need to think about food all the time.

You seem to be comparing sexual appetite with a desire for alcohol.
I would compare it with an appetite for food.

Sexual desire is normal when desire arises and you are free to choose to act or not to act this is sexual freedom. When sexuality gets to the point where it is like food and you feel sexually hungry without it you are its slave. I am not saying you should be without desire for sex, simply that in the human natural state one is able to go without sex indefinately without negative consequences. Nature does not compell man to reproduce against his will. Nature gives man healthy desire to reproduce but compulsion is unnatural.
