We are not
in pursuit of formalities
or fake religious laws.

For through the stairway
of existence
we have come
to God's door.

We are people
who need to love,
because love is the soul's
life.

Love is simply
creation's greatest joy.

Through the stairway
of existence,
o through the stairway
of existence, Hafiz,

Have you now come,
have we all now come
to the Beloved's Door.

Hafiz

Meet you at the Door!

Do not be concerned with the fruit of your action - just give
attention to the action itself. The fruit will come of its own accord.
This is a powerful spiritual practice. Eckhard Tolle

Hello Dancer,

There are many Canadians on my place. Geese of course, but oh so wonderful.

Hi Noname,

Have you read the PON book?

If so, what effect has it had on you?

The poems you share are awesome! :D

Oh yes I have read, listened and seen the awakened one. Then went into a deep pit of self loathing, pity and despised the world. Ego was not too happy with all the light shining on it. I'm learning to make it a friend and not such the enemy.

Part of me would love to bow at the feet and follow the Master anywhere. But that is not our purpose.

To all reading "What do you feel our purpose is?" "And how do we obtain this?"

You just started a new topic, so I'm putting it up in Personal Experiences.

Hi Noname, geez you sure ask easy questions! :) Allright, let's see, our purpose, ah yes, to go Home! What I mean by that is to find out What we really are and be That instead of pretending to be these separate little identities we're clinging to.

How to obtain this. ET says the quickest way to thoughtless awareness (that is What we really are by the way) is to be aligned with the present moment. Another way of saying this would be to surrender to what is in the present moment.
We think we are separate entities and that we have "a life" (ET calls it our "story") so we want things to go the we want them to be rather than the way they actually are. So in fact, we are fighting with what is, and that causes us to suffer and to stay identified with this little separate "self" we think we are. Hope this helps, anymore more questions?
:)
