True Nature of Form?

Post by MeMeMine » Thu Jan 08, 2009 6:59 pm

Hi everyone - Here's an interesting video created by Radiohead. It took me a few moments to realize that this is a good demonstration of the transient nature of form. I thought I would share this because it struck me as relevant to our understanding of how forms arise and dissipate. Example: our eyes are observing forms, yet there is an underlying holographic illusion to these forms with tremendous space between atoms that make up the form.

Here's an excerpt from dataflow, a website that engages in data visualization projects.

"The Radiohead "House of Cards" music video was a bit different in that no cameras were used to "film" it. Instead, they used a rotating scanner and lasers to collect 3D data. What you see in the music video is a visualization of all that data".
