East Meets West

Post by lucy » Thu Oct 22, 2009 9:15 pm

Hi Everyone,

I went to see Eckhart at the Peace Summit in Vancouver. The Dalai lama was also one of the guests. At the lunch break, Eckhart and the Dalai Lama got up from their seats and walked off the stage holding hands. The image of the this little man in a yellow and red robe and this little hunched over man in western attire will forever be burned in my mind. East truly meeting West. It was so beautiful and uplifting, like two little kids on a playground.
