All we need is love.

Post by erbeeflower » Fri Nov 12, 2010 3:49 pm

Well folks this is it,this is my religion,The answer...forget everything else, well no,don't forget it,put it to one side, and just meditate on 'All we need is love'... some dude said this "yeah man, some people are really challenging to love, but that's what they need, they need love,to feel loved is all us humans need. It's what would solve every problem in life if we all felt loved. That's the answer to everything, the beatles sung it and they were spot on. Peace :)"
I'm still enjoying thinking and exploring too much to get stuck here :-)

That's no problem, as long as others can hear us singing there's always a chance they'll join in.

Let's make it a trio! Although I have a terrible singing voice. Perhaps I could rap a verse haha.

This would seem to be true. But how does one "feel loved"?

The Beatles song is actually very interesting lyrically. The verses are a listing of ways the ego tries but can never be fully validated through earthly accomplishments, and how we should let that go and focus instead on love. It's basically about releasing ego and personal identity.

All we need is love--it's true and simple, and then the valid question comes up why it is that humanity has so much trouble being what is true and simple.

I will jump on your band wagon and
I will will sing along in my beautiful falsetto baratone voice.

But first.....would you please define what you mean by "love"?

All that's needed is to love yourself first but unfortunately many have become comfortably numb and the feeling is lost.

By being love.

Like en-joyment is pouring joy from within into whatever you are doing.

To feel love or loved pour love from your being into everything you do and are.
You are a bottomless, endless, ever full well of love!

The answer to that is in the perceived need. Since the need is an illusion, all attempts to fulfill it must ultimately fail, which makes folks very unloving.
