Glad you liked it, I am listening as I write this, wonderful feelings of coming home.

I loved that oneism clip, what was the film at the very beginning with the old & young man sitting talking??

A cool clip, pieces of Alan Watts' talks with a really nice sound track behind it -

I don't know which "side" he's on, but wherever James is singing, it's good place to be!

Not to everyone's taste, some of it reminds me of "Orff's" "Carmina Burana" but worth a listen, especially on headphones

They are great, I like them. I indeed have a bit of Carmina Burana-feeling too when listening them :-) Would be wonderful to listen these songs performed by a symphonic orchestra in a big concert hall...

We shouldn't forget about Ennio Morricone. I think he will be classical in a few decades...

Yes I agree the music of Ennio Morricone is very inspiring, and classical in nature, particularly the Yo-Yo Ma interpretations here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLNCl45duCE&list=PL5B87C3C7EB7B03D7

Another particularly blissful piece of music from the 1944 film Henry V "Touch her Soft Lips and Part" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mi3UWwHa594

Glad you enjoyed the JT music, Merlin! I enjoyed the last piece you posted! So beautiful. The pics that accompany it are lovely too!

Hope everyone is enjoying their summer! Bask in the warmth with Ella and Louis as they sing one of the most gorgeous songs ever written: Summertime!

I've been listening to John Lennon's greatest hits this afternoon.
If you listen to "Imagine", Watching the Wheels go round and round" and "mind games"--they could be the poster songs for waking up and an awakened life!

I'm sure everyone has listened to those songs before---now listen to them as they relate to waking up. Beautiful :D.

Oh yes, John Lennon is great. I love these songs as well:
Jelous Guy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DzhyKn1ThpU
Strawberry Fields Forever: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J3jrWVp2L7U
Give Peace a Chance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkZC7sqImaM
Listening to songs like Imagine and Give Peace a Chance I feel I wish I could lived then and there...

There were lots of wonderful songs in the good old times. I love Carpenters, for example:

Shiley Bassey and the wonderful Where Do I Begin:
