Re: Music of "the other side"?
Two more Secret Garden songs:
This one is really some kind of angel-music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDYLxzz5qHA
And this one is very beautiful, plus from 3:00 it gains more energy, and at 3:54 for a few seconds it becomes amazingly full with some kind of energy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aPcBFZy3x7E
Best listened with headphones on. (Actually I think that applies to most of the songs I ever linked in this topic.)

Re: Music of "the other side"?
Thanks everyone for sharing all those beautiful songs, now I have an itunes album dedicated to them! I love walking around in circles inside my house while listening to my ipod because during these moments, I feel disconnected from everything that is going on in my human life and I temporarily forget who I am as an individual. Music has helped me a lot in my journey to healing. I also think this song is so angelic and tragic: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FvEaVAAHLGI

Here is a beautiful 23 minute Buddhist chant. This is the Manjusri Mantra: Om Ara Pa Tsa Na Dhi (phonetically: Om ah rah pa cha nah day)
Sit down, close your eyes, and dive deep into it chanting along with or simply listening. Very peaceful and calming.

"The Rose"
Some say love, it is a river
That drowns the tender reed.
Some say love, it is a razor
That leaves your soul to bleed.
Some say love, it is a hunger,
An endless aching need.
I say love, it is a flower,
And you its only seed.
It's the heart afraid of breaking
That never learns to dance.
It's the dream afraid of waking
That never takes the chance.
It's the one who won't be taken,
Who cannot seem to give,
And the soul afraid of dyin'
That never learns to live.
When the night has been too lonely
And the road has been too long,
And you think that love is only
For the lucky and the strong,
Just remember in the winter
Far beneath the bitter snows
Lies the seed that with the sun's love
In the spring becomes the rose.

No wonder we feel so good on warm a summer night when the stars twinkling bright and crickets are chirping their praise to God:

Beautiful, powerful lyrics from "The Rose," Sandy, and love the Cricket Chorus!
Wish I had thought of posting this on the 4th of July! Well, this will still be appreciated by lovers of Freedom everywhere, and by lovers of Love, and fans of James Taylor! On the Fourth of July:

This is wonderful! And, as I read somewhere, as crickets had a lot "shorter" (and thus a lot "faster") nervous system, it is now thought that they actually hear this "singing".SandyJoy wrote:No wonder we feel so good on warm a summer night when the stars twinkling bright and crickets are chirping their praise to God:
