Krista Tippett (NPR) interviews him here (August 12 - the one-hour broadcast):

The unedited version is very interesting also:

It can be downloaded - very neat stuff...especially on the painbody, and the true self.

Thank you Andy - great link
A thought came to mind while listening:
Awareness is the space from/within which consciousness arises. "Awakening" is becoming mentally conscious of awareness.

Thanks Andy.

We so struggle with words here. Thanks for the subtle distinction between awakening and awareness. I like your suggestion - it also brings in the much maligned mind. "Mental" is a "mind" word. We do know when we wake up from a dream. We also can 'know' when we wake up from unconsciousness. Awareness exists as the ocean, the Brahman, the space. When we awaken, we discover the ocean we have been living in...being in...being. When we awaken we merge with a larger awareness...our vision and our sense of self expands beyond measure.
Word added to word. Pointers to pointers. Some resonate, some fall flat. It's all good.

Namaste Andy
Absent a conditioned mind my relationship with the world of form is friendly - full of great beauty and harmony and wonder - and peaceful.
Peace to all.
