Yin Yoga

Post by runstrails » Tue Oct 30, 2012 12:21 am

I've just started practicing Yin Yoga and I find that its very conducive to awakening. Then today, my teacher mentioned in class that the practice was recommended by Eckhart. I found this DVD on amazon where Kim Eng demonstrates Yin yoga and Eckhart give an intro. http://www.amazon.com/Presence-Through- ... B00383XYOK
Note that I've not seen the DVD so I'm not recommending it. I'm just recommending the practice of Yin Yoga. Let us know if anyone uses the DVD and how you like it.

Thanks for the heads-up, RT. I found the following 56 minute yin yoga on youtube. I just did it and it felt great. I don't know how it compares to the one you mentioned, but it was very relaxing.
