Tom Campbells Big T.O.E.

Postby jan-sandahl » Sun Jan 27, 2013 2:12 pm

Nuclear physicist, Nasa consultant and concioussness-expert Tom Campbell (also instrumental in the Monroe institute startup), gives love a clear place in science and in the order of all things in his Big TOE (theory of everything). I sense that his model of reality as a virtual reality will gain traction in the decades to come. Newtonian physics and quantum mechanics becomes a subset of this VR model, which is all about the subjective reality - objective reality is just a faulty assumption as once the flat earth model became (although both are usable within their spaces). It´s hard to give a brief summary of his message since it actually covers everything there is, that we know of. And when was the last time we heard a scientist claim that growing towards love (=lower entropy) is the ultimate goal? He is certainly one of a kind and has many interesting and enlightened ways of looking at things.

Here is a very nice three part interview with Tom the white  to begin with, getting better and better towards the end of it.

For the more in depth inclined, I´d like to point you to his Calgary talk, mainly Saturday (theory), but of course you can dig into the whole three day talk, like I did. The link below goes to the first of the three Saturday videos.

I wish you all the best, fellow seekers and finders!

I've got the big version of his book but was never able to finish it due to complex structure. Fascinating and global in its reach, but almost inscrutable.

Interesting to hear, Andy. Thanks for sharing!

His point of view has resolved some of my own perceived issues, and for that I´m grateful. He may not represent an optimal way to self realisation, but the scope his work has seems valuable in many ways.

It´s in my queu for reading. It´s also available for free reading at Google books: http://books.google.se/books?id=6To0902iZeYC. If this link doesn´t deliver, just Google it instead. :)
